MANILA, Philippines - A foreigner was killed by robbers at a 7-Eleven branch in Manila.
Police Officer 3 Alonzo Layugan said 45-year-old Robert Edward Armstrong could have panicked when he saw three armed robbers enter the convenience store at the corner of Harrison Plaza and P. Ocampo Street in Manila on Sunday afternoon.
The armed men immediately left the crime scene on board motorcycles. They took off with them P20,000 from the store’s cash register.
Armstrong was immediately taken to the San Juan de Dios Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival. – from a report by Ricky Velasco, dzMM
