What happened when GF met Enchong's parents

MANILA - Actor Enchong Dee has opened up further about his relationship with Samatha Lewis, recalling the time when the model met his parents for the first time.

In an interview during the launch of his debut album on Thursday, Dee said Lewis met his parents two months ago, when she joined them for Sunday mass.

"Two months ago, sumama siya sa Sunday mass tapos kumain kami after. From then on, niyaya na siya ni mama at papa," he said.

"[Sabi nila] 'O, every Sunday sasama ka sa amin. Papakainin ka namin kasi ang payat-payat mo.' So 'yun ang goal nina mama at papa, na pakainin siya nang sobra," he added, noting his girlfriend's slender figure.

Dee said he has also met Lewis' mother.

"Wala na siyang dad so 'yung mom na lang niyayaya ko every time na magkasama kami [ni Sam]," he said.

Dee publicly introduced Lewis as his girlfriend at the 8th Star Magic Ball last September. The actor said he is happy that Lewis is slowly getting to know the people who are close to him as well as his job.

"Masaya at parang lahat ng trabaho ko ngayon ay mas naiintindihan na niya -- from tours abroad to tapings to shootings to music videos. Unti-unti na rin niyang nakikilala 'yung mga tao -- my friends, my work. Nagiging part of it na siya," he said.

In turn, Lewis introduced Dee to her world via a recent fashion event.

"Actually may deal kami. Sabi ko, sige sa Star Magic Ball ako ang magpapakilala sa mga friends ko, sa mga katrabaho ko. Pero pagdating sa Fashion Ball, ikaw naman ang magpapakilala sa akin kasi mundo mo 'yon. So ginawa naman niya, so ako sunod lang nang sunod sa kanya," he said.

Dee said he met Lewis after shooting for his movie "Once a Princess" with Erich Gonzales. Lewis happened to be one of the models at the event that the actor attended after finishing the film.

"Ang laking contribution ng 'Once a Princess' sa buhay ko," he said.

Meanwhile, Dee said he dedicates his song, "Seloso", to Lewis, noting how his girlfriend has been very supportive of his dream to become a recording artist.
