Burger King is proposing a new product called a WcWhopper that will be developed with rival McDonald's to promote peace day on September 21.
McDonald's chief executive officer Steve Easterbrook responded to Burger King's proposal through Facebook.
He did not reject the McWhopper idea outright but he did not accept it either. Easterbrook said only McDonald's would commit to raise awarness for peace.
Easterbrook also took a jab at Burger King for comparing their "friendly business competition" to the "real pain and suffering of war."
