MANILA – Last month, fans of Anthony Bourdain went crazy after finding out that their favorite chef and TV personality was here in the country.
A month later, another popular host of food-themed programs was spotted here in the Philippines.
Adam Richman, known to many as the host of the food reality television series “Man v. Food”, recently visited Manila to try some of the local fare.
On Twitter, he posted a photo of a dessert combining local flavors – suman (glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk), Philippine mangoes and Choc Nut, a well-loved chocolate and peanut confection.
He said it was “delicious.”

Magazine editor Cheryl Tiu, meanwhile, posted a photo of herself with the TV host on her Instagram page.
Last December, a photographer and his wife spotted Bourdain at a Korean restaurant in Malate, Manila.
Bourdain also ate at a homegrown fast food chain, and visited cultural activist and tour guide Carlos Celdran.
