MANILA – It seems that everyone has caught the Pokemon Go fever.
A local café in Tomas Morato, Quezon City has come up with macarons that look like popular character Pikachu and the Poke Ball, an item used to catch the virtual creatures.
Mrs. Grahams recently introduced the Salted Caramel Pikachu Mini Macaron and the Poke Ball Macaron, which is flavored with matcha.
The Philippine branch of Taiwan’s Din Tai Fung, meanwhile, is encouraging customers to order its Golden Lava Salted Egg Yolk Buns, teasing that they might get a basket designed after Poke Balls.
In Makati, local café Refinery is serving latte featuring Pokemon characters.
