MANILA -- Ellen Adarna is once again showing off her sexy curves on the internet.

The 28-year-old sexy actress, whose bikini photos have gone viral on social media, is seen wearing a black bikini and a midriff-showing top in a new Instagram post.

Her new post has received more than 22,000 likes from her Instagram followers.

Adarna will be part of ABS-CBN's upcoming series "The Greatest Love."

Ariella Arida sizzles in Hermes bikini

MANILA -- Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up Ariella Arida appears on the cover of Metro magazine's "Body" special, which was announced early this week as the ABS-CBN publication's first monthly issue in 2014.

On the issue's cover unveiled by Metro on its Facebook page, the chemistry graduate from Alaminos, Laguna is seen posing in a bikini top with colorful print and a grey bottom -- both, along with a scarf tied to Arida's wrist, said to be Hermes pieces.

The Body Issue, which also marks Metro's 25th anniversary, features several other personalities who "give an all new meaning to bold and daring."




Among those posing sexy for the magazine are Brent Javier, Carlos Agassi, Cristine Reyes, Dennis Trillo, Enrique Gil, Jake Letts, Janna Tee, Jason Abalos, JC de Vera, Jessica Yang, Joaco Cañas, John James Uy and Rafa Siguion-Reyna.

Also included in the "Metro Body" list are Randy See, Raphael Robes, Rayver and Rodjun Cruz, Rufa Mae Quinto, Sam Concepcion, Sky Yang, Sunshine Cruz, Tom Rodriguez, Valerie Weigmann, Victor Basa, Vince Ferraren, the Viva Hot Babes and Wendy Tabusalla.

This year, Metro's Body Issue, also released last January, had actor Enchong Dee on the cover. He was joined in the list by personalities including Megan Young, Joseph Marco and Jessy Mendiola.

Metro's January 2014 issue is out in newsstands now.

Sexy star Patricia Javier: I'm here, I'm back!

MANILA -- Six years after she left for the United States to start a family with her husband, Patricia Javier is now looking to resume her showbiz career in the Philippines.

Javier, who recently flew in from San Diego, spoke with ABS-CBN News on Wednesday and shared her hopes of staging a comeback as an actress.




"Nakaka-miss din talaga," said Javier. "Kung may magandang project for me, why not, 'diba? So yeah, I'm here, I'm back!"

The former teen star -- she debuted on TV at 16 via "That's Entertainment" -- was launched as a sexy actress in 1999 with the film "Ang Kapit ni Mrs. Montero."

She went on to appear in some 15 movies, a number of them comedy, and in several TV shows. Javier even dabbled in music, having launched a self-titled album, "PJ," at one point.

'Full-time mommy'

While on a US concert tour in 2003, Javier met chiropractor Dr. Rob Walcher, whom she eventually married four years later. They decided to move to San Diego for good shortly after.

Describing herself as a "full-time mommy" with children now aged 7 and 2, Javier told ABS-CBN News she also busied herself in the US as an esthetician and as a DJ.

She also took active part in charity works, interacting with battered women and those in need of medical help. Javier explained that part of the reason she returned to the Philippines, aside from visiting her family, is to continue her cause.

A member of BKP (Books for Kids in the Philippines), Javier said she will be participating in the distribution of books to schools sponsored by the non-profit organization.

More sexy roles?

Once finished with her business with BKP, Javier said she is hoping to find luck in showbiz. She added she misses having TV guestings, doing drama on TV, "atsaka 'yung mga nakakasama ko sa showbiz na mababait na artista, syempre."

Asked who among the currently popular stars she is a fan of, Javier said mentioned Maja Salvador, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.

"Syempre si Cristine Reyes," she added, "kasi natatandaan ko pa siya noong nag-da-dance pa kami nung ate niyang si Ara, pumupunta pa kami sa bahay niya no'n. Nagulat nalang ako, ngayon sobrang sikat na siya tapos angganda-ganda niya!"

As a returning actress, is Javier still open to doing sexy roles?

"Para sa akin, ang pagiging artista, kung ano 'yung ibinigay sa'yo na role, kung kaya mong panindigan or patunayan, [tatanggapin mo]," she said. "Iyon ang pagiging artista, 'diba?"

"So sa akin, hindi ako namimili kung anuman ang ibigay nila basta masasabi ko na 'yung project, pwede mong ipagmayabang."

Viva's new 'sex goddess' set for debut flick

MANILA, Philippines -- Billed as an Anjanette Abayari-look-alike "groomed in the mold of Cristine Reyes," Yam Concepcion is set to bring back the trend of "bold" movies as she makes her debut as Viva Entertainment's new "sex goddess."




For a newcomer to the entertainment industry, however, Concepcion said she feels pressured from being given the tag once associated with sexy star Joyce Jimenez, herself a former Viva talent.

"It's a heavy title to carry, so I don't really know what to feel about it yet, but right now, it's just so pressuring for me, on my part, because I'm just starting," Concepcion told ABS-CBN News on Tuesday.

"I don't know where I stand, because I'm just beginning to set foot into this whole new world," she added.

For her first major outing as a "sex goddess," Concepcion will topbill the Erik Matti film "Rigodon," where she portrays 25-year-old Sarah Dilag, "a confused girl who will face struggles in her life."

Concepcion said she will go topless in the movie, which also stars John James Uy and Maxene Eigenmann.

The 23-year-old, who attended an all-girls school, said working on "Rigodon" was a breeze, thanks to the workshops leading up to her "bold scenes" and her fascination with film-making.

But with the premiere of her "Rigodon" nearing -- it is set for release on November 21 -- Concepcion feels anxious over her acting debut.

"Nakaka-nerbyos kasi, buti sana kung angtagal ko na sa industriyang ito, pero hindi, tapos 'yun pa agad 'yung binigay sa 'kin. And it's my first-ever acting experience. I never had any acting experience prior to that, it's pressuring," she said.

Concepcion said she looks forward to co-starring with a number of Kapamilya talents for her succeeding projects.

"Gusto ko si Bea Alonzo, ang galing niya umarte, and she's so blooming. I also want Gerald Anderson [as my leading man]. Dati si Derek (Ramsay), ngayon si Gerald na. I think he's cute. Ang galing pa niya, ang dami niyang kayang gawin, he can play basketball, he's very talented," she said.

Some say it was a bit racy, but we beg to disagree. It’s a great mix of contrast fabrics and styles. The lace gives off a vintage feel, while the underwear set adds a modern twist to it. When Ryan Seacrest asked her about what she was wearing, she shares “I had two choices. This is the safe one.” Now, this left us wondering what the other one was.

It seems that Katy Perry’s styling team has more blue magic up their sleeves. Elie Saab produced another fully beaded cornflower blue gown. With an A-line cut skirt, quarter sleeves and cinched at the waist with a blue ribbon, Katy Perry looked every inch the princess in this monochromatic look---with her electric blue hair in an up ‘do style.

Paris Hilton picked a Basil Soda gown made of delicate lace and, perhaps, silk chiffon. Strategically-placed lace keeps this sexy as it slightly showed off the heiress’ neck, cleavage and legs. A thin, metallic belt served as the only contrast to this off-white gown. It’s a grown-up version of a playful gown that’s still very “Paris Hilton.”

Rihanna showed up in a black dress with a low-front neckline, and high-slit (front and center)— “a collaboration between Mr. Armani and myself,” Rihanna shares with Ryan Seacrest on E Online! “We have a pretty good relationship now, since we’ve been working together on the campaign and designing a capsule line for his collection…” the singer beamingly adds. We can’t wait to check out this new team-up.

Taylor Swift’s golden choice by Zuhair Murad was the talk of the town. Fully beaded on a sheer fabric that serves as an overlay to a nude lining, Swift has topped the fashion charts again with this number. When asked by Seacrest on what she was wearing: “It’s one of my favorite dresses that I’ve ever gotten to wear, actually. It’s just one of those dresses that when you look at it, I am so impressed that someone made that. The handiwork is so beautiful, the design is just wonderful. So when I saw it months ago, and I kinda said, we gotta save it for the Grammys.” A very good decision, indeed!
