An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 was felt in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa, as Canada prepares to host Summit 2010 G8/G20 and dozens of world leaders welcome.The seismic tremor was felt over lunch about 1:45 pm and seems to have lasted for more than 15 seconds. According to geological data the epicenter about 60 kilometers north of the capital in Ottawa Ontario.
In downtown Toronto, the earthquake had a greater impact on the hi-rises, causing more influential than the base of the building that forced some employees to leave their workplace.
