The United States Embassy and its affiliated offices will be closed to the public on January 17, 2011, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
According to a press release issued by the embassy on Friday, regular services will resume on January 18.
King (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American clergyman and a prominent leader in the African American civil rights movement.
