Brian Urlacher to be '110 percent' for Bears camp

Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher said doctors have cleared him to participate fully in training camp. Urlacher injured his left knee in Week 17 last season, but told ESPN Radio in Chicago that he has recovered.

"I’m full go for everything, so I won’t be missing anything," Urlacher told "The Waddle and Silvy Show" on ESPN 100. "One hundred and ten percent, I’m good to go. The vet days that we get every once in a while, we’ll take those when we can, but other than that, I’m good to go."

The Bears view themselves as Super Bowl contenders, especially with running back Matt Forte recently having agreed to a four-year, $32 million deal.

"I’m glad he got what he got," Urlacher said. "He deserved it. If anyone deserves it, it was Matt. He works his tail off and he produces on the field every Sunday. ... I’m glad it’s over with and he’s going to be in camp and happy.

"There’s no doubt in (my) mind that we have the talent to (win the Super Bowl). It’s just a matter of guys staying healthy and us performing on Sunday."

Urlacher’s health is a key to the Bears’ defense. Sounds like he will begin training camp feeling good about his body, and about the Bears.
