And she still looks mighty fine, wearing stylish lingerie in the cover photo, shot by Xander Angeles at Opus.
When G appeared in a revealing red swimsuit on the July 2001 cover of FHM, she was at the peak of her stardom and was popular not just as an actress and TV host in the Philippines but also in the southeast Asian region as a video jock for MTV Asia.
Now 34, the actress, identified as G Tongi (without the “e”) on the magazine, is staging a showbiz comeback after trying her luck in the US and settling down as a wife and mother to two kids.
She is currently in the cast of the ABS-CBN soap “Aryana”.
