MANILA, Philippines – Ten years since his debut album reached multi-platinum status in Indonesia, Christian Bautista continues to enjoy success in the country.
On Valentine's Day, the Kapamilya singer performed at Hotel Mulia in Jakarta before hundreds of Indonesian fans.
He also went to Palu, the capital of Sulawesi south east of Indonesia, where the locals' welcome to the Filipino balladeer was marked with billboard ads, print ads and even car ads announcing Bautista's arrival.
This isn't the first time the former "ASAP" mainstay has been welcomed with enthusiasm and open arms in Indonesia.
Among other accomplishments there, a number of Bautista's songs earned multi-platinum status in the country. He also topbilled his own musical TV special via Indonesia's largest broadcast station, on top holding numerous concerts there.
