Krista Miller breaks silence about Montano

MANILA, Philippines – After weeks of being tagged as the third party in the marriage of celebrity couple Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz, starlet Krista Miller finally broke her silence to defend herself against criticism.

In an exclusive interview with “The Buzz” aired on Sunday, Miller said she is totally clueless as to how and why this issue started.

Miller first made headlines when Cruz turned to social networking site Instagram to confront the actress, whose recent posts on the same image-sharing service show items allegedly given to her by Montano.

The 22-year-old Miller maintained that the items posted in her Instagram account were not from Montano.

“I have more than five suitors na puwedeng magbigay sa akin ng ganong regalo. Pero may pera ako, kaya kong bumili. Hindi ko hahayaan na pababain ang sarili ko nang dahil lang sa iPhone5,” she said.

Saying she does not even have Montano’s contact number, Miller also denied that she sent the actor-director some provocative messages and pictures of herself.

Reiterating that none of Cruz’s accusations are true, Miller said she and Montano never had a romantic relationship.

“Hindi po. He's my director. I respect him. Iginagalang ko po iyon,” she said.

Miller said Montano is the type of director who cares for all his fellow actors and crew.

'Yung pagiging maasikaso niya, maalaga niya, binibigyan niya ng pagkain, everybody in ‘Turning Cradle’ knows that,” she said.

While admitting that Montano is attractive, Miller stressed that the actor is not her type of guy.

According to Miller, it is also not true that she stayed in a hotel with Montano when the actor and Cruz had a misunderstanding.

Miller also shrugged off rumors that this issue came about just to promote their upcoming movie together.

After being called a home-wrecker and a mistress, Miller said she just considers this a challenge.

Masakit,” she said.
