Ex-Bb. Pilipinas bet in FHM shoot airs side

MANILA -- Controversial Binibining Pilipinas candidate Theresa Marie Fenger finally faced media on Friday to say that she was hurt by her departure from the pageant.

The 25-year-old singer-model reiterated she was pulled out by pageant organizers and that she did not voluntarily withdraw from the competition.

"Actually hindi talaga ako nag-withdraw. I was left behind in the room tapos three lawyers came to me, tapos sabi nila they have made their decision to let me go," the told ABS-CBN News.

"So ang feeling ko, 'What else can I do? Iyon 'yung choice talaga nila," she said.

Nonetheless, Fenger acknowledged that she reluctantly did a sexy photo spread for FHM magazine in 2009 when she was a member of the sexy girl group Eurasia.

The photos precipitated questions about her eligibility to join the pageant which frowns on previous sexy exposures of candidates.

Referring to the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, Fenger said, "I miss being a part of it and I miss the candidates. It was a good part of my life. Sayang that it ended so fast."

Fenger has been replaced by Henna Kaizzelle Nicole Cajandig, a 20-year-old from General Santos City, as candidate No. 35 in the pageant.

Fenger is moving on as spokesperson of Day to Day Foundation, a beauty and educational group that helps poor students.

She hopes more opportunities will turn around her unfortunate Binibining Pilipinas chapter, including finishing her self-composed recording album.

She is also looking forward to cheer her ex-fellow candidates on coronation night on April 14 at Araneta Coliseum.
