Nomura Research Singapore sets up Manila branch

Nomura Research Institute Ltd. said Friday its Singapore unit has established a branch in Manila to take over operations of the Japanese parent company's office in the Philippines capital.

Nomura Research Institute Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.'s Manila branch will provide consulting services in a more timely manner in the country where an increasing number of Japanese businesses are making investments, it said.
