In a statement, Megaworld said Gettys will be responsible for the interior design and concept of the building's lobby.
"The lobby will feature a cosmopolitan theme in which movement and reflection are captured in the form of urban finishes and classic pieces combined in an utterly sophisticated design," Megaworld said.
Gettys, an award-winning firm, has worked with various brands such as The Peninsula Hong Kong; the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai; The Ritz-Carlton in Miami, Florida; Four Seasons in Chicago; Westin Golf & Spa Resort in Abu Dhabi; Hard Rock in Macau; and Sheraton D-Cube City in Seoul, Korea.
Gettys has also worked with Megaworld's sister company Travellers International Hotels Group Inc. for Maxims Hotel in Resorts World Manila.
"Gettys has a track record for providing only the best lifestyle experience for its clients. We want to extend that kind of service to our unit owners especially here in the Makati CBD (central business district)," Eugene Lozano, Megaworld's head of sales and marketing for Makati CBD, said in the statement.
Aside from Gettys, Megaworld has also tapped HansGrohe and Kohler for One Central's toilet and bathroom fittings.
One Central, made up of 50- and 42-storey wings, boasts of a 50-seat mini-theater, a wine and bar lounge, a pool, an indoor and outdoor spa, a fitness gym, children's play area, and a function hall.
