As Darna, Concepcion had a "fight scene" with a red-haired villain in a green costume portrayed by Iya Villania.
Other Kapamilya stars who played superheroes in the "ASAP" dance number include Jericho Rosales and Sam Concepcion as Captain Barbell, and Rayver Cruz as Lastikman.
ABS-CBN recently acquired exclusive rights to "Darna," one of Mars Ravelo's popular works. It has yet to choose who will portray the Pinay superhero, but Concepcion, Angel Locsin, Cristine Reyes, Sarah Geronimo and Jessy Mendiola have been considered by many as potential perfect fits for the role.
Locsin and Marian Rivera are among the local stars who have been given the opportunity to star as "Darna" on television.
