Pierce powers Wizards over Celtics

Paul Pierce had 17 points in 18 minutes against his former team as the Washington Wizards demolished the Boston Celtics 101-88.
The Wizards (21-8) never trailed, opening a 15-2 lead inside four minutes and were up by at least 17 points after each of the first three quarters.

Jimmy Butler scored 33 points as the Chicago Bulls beat the New Orleans Pelicans 107-100 for their sixth successive victory.
Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 29 points, 11 rebounds and six blocked shots in his first NBA game in the city where he grew up.

Jeff Teague scored 10 of his game-high 25 points in the fourth quarter as the Atlanta Hawks pulled away late to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 90-85.
A night after being thrashed at home by the Bucks, Atlanta gained revenge on the road to post their sixth win in seven games.

Pacers 110, Nets 85
The Indiana Pacers won for just the second time in their last 10 road games when they beat Brooklyn 110-85, ending the Nets' season-high three-game winning streak.
The Pacers broke open a close game by outscoring the Nets 29-18 in the third quarter and scoring the first nine points of the fourth.

Magic 102, Hornets 94
Nikola Vucevic had 22 points and 11 rebounds, and the Orlando Magic withstood a career-high 42 points from Kemba Walker to beat the Charlotte Hornets 102-94.
