LOOK: Rousey makes cover of Sports Illustrated

UFC's Ronda Rousey landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated, making her the second UFC fighter and first female mixed martial artist to be featured on the cover of the popular sports magazine.

"I don't know what to say, it's an honor... thank you, wow! it's so cool," she told SI.com after seeing the magazine.

UFC's Roger Huerta was the first MMA fighter to be featured on the cover of the sports magazine in 2007 when Sports Illustrated wrote about the growth of the UFC.

According to the UFC, the women's bantamweight champion was also named as Sports Illustrated's "Most Dominant Athlete" for winning all of her 11 fights with nine by submission and two by knockout. Only one of those 11 fights went past the first round.

Last February, Rousey was also featured in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue.
