In the case of the UAAP season 80 men's basketball champions Ateneo Blue Eagles, their title win helped them avenge last year's loss at the hands of their bitter rival De La Salle University.
Aside from the emotional pain the season 79 loss Ateneo had to endure, months and months of hard work also came into play, in their search for improvement.
