LOOK: Baron Geisler in car accident
MANILA – Baron Geisler figured in a car accident early Tuesday morning, a DZMM report said.
According to the Traffic Division of Pasig City, the actor was driving a black Fortuner when he got involved in an accident before 4 a.m. Tuesday along Imelda Avenue in Pasig City.
The right portion of Geisler’s SUV was wrecked after it collided with a truck with plate number RJA 151.
Both Geisler’s vehicle and the truck were brought to the Traffic Bureau office of Pasig City for investigation.
While no one suffered injuries from the accident, Geisler was dismayed at the slow response of authorities.
On Instagram, the actor said he waited for over an hour because “the investigator is busy with something else.”
“It's been more than an hour and no Pasig investigator has showed up despite several calls to the police station. A traffic enforcer came and 2 police officers came but they cannot investigate the matter. They are saying that the investigator is busy with something else. I am very disappointed at the response I am getting in this emergency situation,” he said.
Geisler claimed that he was driving through Karangalan in Pasig City when a speeding 16-wheeler truck hit his vehicle.
Before the incident happened, the actor said he just came from work and that his taping got packed up a little past 3 a.m. - report from Johnson Manabat, DZMM

Bouncers in Baron Geisler viral video speak up
ANGELES CITY- The bouncers involved in the viral video showing a rowdy Baron Geisler have finally aired their side of the story.
The Facebook clips show the 33-year-old actor, who appears to be drunk, being disallowed entry to the establishment in Pampanga. In the second video, Geisler is seen cursing and even challenging the bouncers to a fist fight.
Edgar Tolentino, head bouncer, said that Geisler was denied entry to their establishment because he was very drunk.
"May rules kasi kami dito, 'pag lasing na at di mo na kaya, bawal na," explained Tolentino.
When told about the policy, Geisler allegedly started shouting and throwing invectives at the bouncers.
"Sabi n'ya, 'magkano ka ba? P*tang ina mo, papatayin kita, pati anak mo,' sabi niya," Ronnie Tanglao, another bouncer, narrated.
Tanglao said that the altercation caught in the viral videos was not the first time Geisler made a scene at the bar. Geisler allegedly made a pass at dancers in the bar three years ago.
"Nanigarilyo s'ya sa dancefloor, tapos nanghipo. Akala siguro, okay lang dahil artista," Tanglao recounted.
The management of the bar has yet to decide whether to press charges against Geisler.
GEISLER'S CAMP ISSUES STATEMENT
In a statement, ALV Talent Circuit, which manages Geisler's career, empathized with the actor's "plea against the discrimination he suffered" from the club's management and security.
It surmised that Geisler's past controversies were the reason he was denied admission to the venue.
The talent firm expressed support for its ward, saying it was the establishment that "caused the incident and aggravated the situation by hurting the feelings of Baron."
Here's the full statement of ALV Talent Circuit:
"We are greatly concerned about the viral video of Baron Geisler’s latest bar incident in Angeles City, Pampanga which is currently making the rounds on social media.
"We empathize with Baron Geisler's plea against the discrimination he suffered from the bouncer and management of the said venue.
"As can be seen in the longer version of video, Baron may have overreacted due to frustration but had reason and was well within his rights to question and demand explanation from the manager or somebody who had authority, why he was being denied admission into a public place that offers entertainment and serves alcoholic beverages.
"We do not know of any bar that discriminates against incoming patrons whether they appear inebriated or not. We can only conclude that this is a result of the stigma caused by similar incidents involving Mr. Geisler in the past.
"Management caused the incident and aggravated the situation by hurting the feelings of Baron. As clearly appearing in the video, there is no single justifiable reason for the management to deny admission except that he is Baron Geisler with obvious past issues.
"Nevertheless, a place for entertainment open to the public, locals and foreigners alike, cannot single out any individual purely because of the stigma of his past, unaccompanied by any illegal act, untoward incident, violation of law, ordinance and rules of the establishment.
"Despite the commotion outside the bar, we are thankful that Baron had the right mind to walk away in the end from the said incident.
"We pray for sobriety and that the public be more discerning before judging anyone." - with a report from Gel Sigui, ABS-CBN News Pampanga

Baron Geisler allegedly makes scene at QC bar
MANILA, Philippines -- Actor Baron Geisler allegedly made a scene at a bar in Quezon City on Friday.
The 30-year-old actor allegedly caused a commotion at Conspiracy bar along Visayas Avenue, an official of the club identified only as "Bianca" told dzMM radio program "Mismo" Friday night.
Geisler, who was apparently unaccompanied, went from table to table to ask who knew how to play the guitar, according to the club official.
"Parang lahat stunned, kasi medyo lasing na siya noon. He was walking around with a bottle of beer, and then he was asking whoever could play the guitar kasi gusto raw niya kumanta ng isang song para sa girlfriend niya.
"So kami, nag-aalangan kami, parang, 'We don't know how to play,' and then he started cursing already," she said.
Bianca said she observed that Geisler seemed intoxicated upon his arrival at the bar at around 8:30 p.m., and continued drinking afterwards.
She added that Geisler allegedly cursed while on stage, as he appeared to be waiting for someone to perform the song with him.
"Medyo natakot na 'yung audience namin, natakot 'yung crowd, hindi narin namin alam 'yung gagawin namin," she said.
The Conspiracy official said there are no plans to file a complaint against Geisler.
"Wala namang nasaktan sa audience namin, walang nasaktan sa banda namin, maliban siguro doon sa first band na medyo na-trauma," she said.
Geisler, who has admitted having bipolar disorder, made headlines time and again for his alleged misbehavior at public events.
In November last year, he spent over 12 hours in jail after an altercation with his neighbor.
"Mismo" hosts Jobert Sucaldito and Ahwel Paz said the program is open for Geisler to air his side on the alleged incident.

Baron Geisler admits he is bipolar
MANILA, Philippines – After being involved in yet another controversy, actor Baron Geisler finally broke his silence and admitted that he has been dealing with bipolar disorder, which causes severe depression and mood swings.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday, days after he was sent to jail last Friday, Geisler said he was having a bad day when he figured in a scuffle with neighbor Ray dela Rosa.
“I’m a very patient person. Nagkataon lang na talagang I was having a bad day noong araw na iyon. Nagse-self medicate kasi ako dahil masyado akong naging confident and parang in denial also na 'yung sinabi sa akin na I am bipolar and my chemical imbalance,” he said.
Bipolar disorder is defined as "a condition in which people go back and forth between periods of a very good or irritable mood and depression."
Asked how long has he been dealing with this illness, he said: “It’s a secret dahil sino ba namang tao, especially dito sa Pilipinas hindi naman natin pinag-aaralan ito... people are very quick to judge. Iisipin nila mental case iyan, huwag na nating pagkatiwalaan iyan baka biglang mag-snap. Matagal na siyang sikreto but I’ve been seeing a doctor mga four years na.”
Geisler said there were moments when his insecurities would still eat him up despite all the good things that are happening in his life and career.
“Hindi actually mood swings ang nangyayari sa akin. It’s more on insecurities, ang daming negative thoughts na pumapasok na hindi ko ma-explain. Kasi kumbaga maganda naman ang nangyayari sa akin, masaya naman kami ng pamilya ko pero bakit may masakit na hindi ko maintindihan? It hurts in the head, it hurts in the heart. Hindi ko maintindihan,” he said.
Quick to judge
Geisler spent at least 14 hours in jail after he allegedly slammed a chair into dela Rosa's sari-sari store and punched dela Rosa in front of his three-year-old child, who was allegedly traumatized by the incident.
The actor said he feels bad that a lot of people got the wrong news, prompting some to misjudge him anew.
“Mali-mali po 'yung bigla bigla na lang akong nananapak ng kapitbahay or lasing ako or nakainom ako. Parang ang nilabas nila isa akong hayop na walang pinag-aralan, basta basta na lang kumikilos ng masama or gustong manakit ng tao lalo na sa mga taong talagang nakakakilala talaga sa akin,” he explained.
For Geisler, what happened was just a misunderstanding.
“Pumunta ako ng tindahan tapos bumibili ako ng tinapay. ‘Tao po, tao po.’ Lagi kasing ganon na hindi ako pinapansin or mabagal, laging nakasimangot. So ako, matagal na 'yung alitan namin ni Ray. Taon na iyan eh. I was having a bad nung araw na iyon, so sabi ko ‘Sige hindi mo ako pinapansin so I got the chair tapos pinalo ko. I know mali ang ginawa ko pero tao lang ako, napupuno rin,” he said.
Geisler said he was hurt by how people treated him like he was an “animal.”
“Unang una itong kaso na ito, wala namang kaso eh. Dapat ito nagsisimula sa barangay. May proseso po iyan. Ang ginawa sa akin hindi tamang proseso. Nagkataon lang na inisip nila masama akong tao, bad boy ako, may reputasyon na ganito, trinato nila akong animal so diniretso nila ako [sa kulungan],” he said.
Abused in jail
The actor also revealed that he was physically abused while he was in jail.
“Well at first pagpasok ko, parang may initiation iyan na itatakal ka pero naging close kami sa loob. Tapos sinabihan ako ng mga inmates na, ‘Ayos ka pala Baron pero pasensya ka na kung nasaktan ka namin, hindi naman namin kagustuhan iyan eh, binulungan lang kami. Kung hindi namin gawin, baka kami naman ang masaktan,’” he said.
In spite of everything that happened, Geisler said what’s important is that he and dela Rosa have already patched things up.
“I’m really glad it’s over, okay kami ni Ray. Iyon ang pinakaimportante kasi kapitbahay ko siya. Sa press, hindi sila sanay na kapag inireklamo si Baron, hindi umaatras. Misunderstanding lang talaga ito na pinalaki lang ng mga tao,” he said.
The actor also said he is just glad to have his family around him through this difficult time.
“Of course they’re very disappointed dahil sa mga balitang lumalabas and sa mga comment ng mga tao pero gumagawa sila ng paraan para matulungan ako. Si mommy siya ang tumawag sa sekretarya ni dok. Actually dapat bukas pa ang schedule pero bigla na lang puwede. Gumagawa naman sila ng paraan para matulungan ako,” he said.
Geisler also has a message for those who are trying to put him down.
“Hindi naman sila ang Diyos para bigyan ako ng taning sa mundo or kahit sa trabaho. Medyo sanay na rin ako. Pero ang laking epekto sa akin niyan kasi iyan na ang sistema. I just have to roll with the punches so tanggapin ko na lang na ganyan talaga. Basta tuluy-tuloy lang siguro,” he said.
“It’s not how many times you fall. It’s how you stand up and fight. I’m gonna fight this depression and I’m still looking forward to have a good life,” he added. -- with a report from Marie Lozano, ABS-CBN News
