LOOK: Miss Universe 2017 ties the knot with retired NFL star Tim Tebow

Former NFL star Tim Tebow and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has tied the knot, the couple shared on Instagram.

The two, who both wrote "forever" in their captions, married in a ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa.

This was confirmed Tuesday by US-based magazine People.

"I've been looking forward to three things," Tebow said of the wedding. "The first moment I see her in her wedding dress, the first kiss, and the first dance together as man and wife. It's such a special night."

According to People, Nel-Peters walked down the aisle in a custom-made gown from David's Bridal, a clothier in the US.

Tebow, a collegiate football champion who previously played for NFL teams the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets, got engaged to Nel-Peters in January.

He was born in the Philippines where his parents served as Baptist missionaries. His family moved back to the US when he was 3.

He currently plays minor league baseball.

Nel-Peters, who is from South Africa, won Miss Universe in 2017.

Jennifer Garner leads People magazine's beautiful list

LOS ANGELES -- Actress, businesswoman and children's advocate Jennifer Garner is featured on the cover of People magazine's annual beautiful issue, the magazine said on Tuesday.

People said it chose the 47-year-old "Alias" actress for balancing her career and charitable work with the raising of her three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck.

In addition to film and TV roles, Garner co-founded organic baby food company Once Upon a Farm and works as an ambassador for advocacy group Save the Children.

Garner told People that she never considered herself "one of the pretty girls" when she was growing up in West Virginia. She described her style at the time as "band geek-chic."

Her current "uniform" more often than not is workout clothes, or jeans, a sweater and sneakers, if she is not dressed up for a red carpet or photo shoot.

When she does get glammed up, Garner said her kids will ask "'Can you wash your face? Can you put your hair in a ponytail and put your glasses and sweats on?'"

"And I see the compliment in that," she said. "They just want me to look like Mom."

People's beautiful issue will hit newsstands on Friday.

Mariah Carey says she has bipolar disorder

LOS ANGELES - Pop singer Mariah Carey revealed on Wednesday that she suffers from bipolar disorder, telling People magazine that she was diagnosed in 2001 but had only recently been taking medication.

Carey told People in an interview that she got the diagnosis when she was hospitalized following an emotional and physical breakdown around the time of her critically panned movie "Glitter" in 2001.

She said she did not want to believe it and only sought treatment recently.

"I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me,” Carey told the celebrity magazine.

"It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn’t do that anymore. I sought and received treatment, I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music."

Carey, one of the best-selling music artists in the world with 200 million records sold and hits like "We Belong Together," said she was taking medication for the bipolar II form of the disorder, which is marked by less severe mood swings between depression and hyperactivity.

"For a long time I thought I had a severe sleep disorder," she said.

"But it wasn’t normal insomnia and I wasn’t lying awake counting sheep. I was working and working and working. ... I was irritable and in constant fear of letting people down. It turns out that I was experiencing a form of mania. Eventually I would just hit a wall," the singer told the magazine.

Carey came forward after a roller-coaster few years that included her divorce from comedian Nick Cannon, with whom she has 6-year-old twins, and her short-lived but high-profile 2016 engagement to Australian billionaire businessman James Packer.

She said she is taking medication that "is not making me feel too tired or sluggish" and is working on a new album due out later this year.

"I’m just in a really good place right now, where I’m comfortable discussing my struggles with bipolar II disorder. I’m hopeful we can get to a place where the stigma is lifted from people going through anything alone," she said.

Carey's interview is featured in the Friday edition of the magazine.

Cardi B, fast-rising woman of rap, reveals pregnancy

NEW YORK - A day after releasing one of the most eagerly awaited rap debut albums in recent years, rapper Cardi B made another splash -- revealing she is pregnant.

The fast-rising 25-year-old star showed off an unambiguous baby bump as she appeared on weekly comedy show "Saturday Night Live," becoming a top trending item on social media.

In a teasing confirmation to persistent pregnancy rumors, Cardi B took the stage twice on "Saturday Night Live," first concealing her body with a fulsome feather boa as she performed her breakout single "Bodak Yellow."

When she returned to rap "Be Careful," a track off her debut album "Invasion of Privacy" that came out Friday, Cardi B donned a body-hugging white dress and smiled knowingly as the lights shone on her protruding belly.

Cardi B is engaged to Offset of rap trio Migos, who shortly after his fiancee's television appearance confirmed the pregnancy on Instagram, writing, "We feel so blessed."

Cardi B, a Bronx native whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, has quickly found stardom with her hard-driving rhymes that unsentimentally tell a story of a rough life that included a stint as a stripper.

"Bodak Yellow," released less than a year ago, made her one of the most watched names in rap -- a genre dominated by men and, often, by machismo.

She raked in top prizes including single of the year at last year's BET Hip Hop Awards, leading to high anticipation for her debut album -- and she is not letting the pregnancy slow her down.

The rapper is due to perform next weekend at Coachella, the premier US music festival -- whose top headliner Beyonce pushed back her appearance by one year as she gave birth to twins in 2017.

The gossip site TMZ earlier reported that Cardi B is due to give birth in early July.

Beyonce gives birth to twins - celebrity news websites

LOS ANGELES - US singer Beyonce has given birth to twins in Los Angeles, several celebrity news websites reported on Saturday, citing unidentified sources.

Beyonce, 35, and rapper and music producer Jay Z, already have a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

E! News, citing multiple unidentified sources, reported the birth and that Jay Z and Blue Ivy were seen at a Los Angeles area hospital on Thursday.

Us Weekly, also citing multiple unidentified sources, reported that the couple welcomed twins earlier this week.

"Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and closest friends," one unidentified source told PEOPLE.

Reuters could not verify the reports. A representative for Beyonce did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

The celebrity news websites did not provide additional details, such as the date and time the twins were born or the sex of the infants.

The "Lemonade" singer, one of the most powerful women in the music business, announced the pregnancy on her Instagram account in February along with an image of her posed in lingerie and caressing a noticeable baby bump.

The announcement got more than 8 million "likes" in the first 24 hours to become the "most-liked" Instagram ever.

The R&B singer performed live at the Grammy awards in Los Angeles two weeks later, proudly displaying her swelling belly in a motherhood-themed show. She has since posted numerous pictures of her bare baby bump on her social media accounts.

Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale to divorce - reports

LOS ANGELES -- Singer Gwen Stefani has filed for divorce from rockstar husband Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage, several news reports said on Monday.

In her divorce petition, Stefani, 45, cited irreconcilable differences and asked for joint custody of the couple's three children, 9-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma and 1-year-old Apollo, celebrity websites TMZ and People.com said.

Rossdale, 49, filed his response at the same time and also asked for joint custody, TMZ reported.

Neither Stefani nor Rossdale's attorneys immediately responded to emails seeking comment.

The couple has been together for about two decades, meeting when Stefani's band No Doubt toured with Rossdale's band Bush in 1995, People.com reported. They dated for six years before they wed in 2002.

"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment," the couple told the website in a statement.

How to Shop Online the Right Way

If you have a tight budget, the Internet is a wonderful option for helping you save money. When you spend your money wisely, you ensure that your finances will remain secure as you move into the future. But before you can take advantage of the wisdom of frugality you must internalize a few ground rules, such as the following:

Know the Difference between Need and Want

If you frequently go on shopping trips, you may run into temptation. You may spot an attractive purse or the newest gadget. However, do you truly need the item? It is necessary to know the difference between a need and a want. Consider where the item may end up once it reaches your home. Will it sit somewhere? Will you actually use it? If you believe that you do not truly need the item, move on and find something else. It may be difficult to take on this habit; with practice you will learn how to avoid tempting situations.

Look For Coupons and Sales

It is a terrific idea to look for coupons and sales if you wish to spend money wisely while online. It may be possible to obtain a coupon by joining a mailing list. If a person does not wish to give away personal information, it is also possible to visit websites that specialize in helping consumers find deals. You may learn about an upcoming sale, or you may come across advice and tips from fellow online shoppers.

Be sure to pay attention to the expiration date of a coupon. Do not assume that an item will remain in stock for the duration of the sale. Coupons may come in the form of promo codes. If you go to the Newegg website and obtain newegg promo codes, you may save money on electronics and office products. This is an excellent website to use in order to obtain practice.

Only Purchase from Reputable Websites

If you want to be safe while you are shopping online, only purchase from reputable websites. Some websites appear to be reputable and professional; however, if you give the website your personal information, you may run into a scam. You may lose a lot of money, and your deal may quickly turn into a nightmare. Read online reviews about a website and ensure that it is trustworthy. If you are not sure, do not buy from the website.

Many people shop online; it is not unusual for a person to talk about the deals available on the Internet. If you want to be smart and save money, the information above may help. If you are confused, do not be afraid to ask a loved one for assistance.
