According to a CNN report, National Coffee Day is celebrated every year on Sept. 29 and seemingly the celebration grows in popularity. If you are interested in getting a free or discounted cup of coffee (and who isn't) here are some restaurants and businesses you need to check out today.
Krispy Kreme is reporting on their Facebook page that they will be giving away a free 12 oz. cup of House, Decaf or Dark Roast coffee from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. CT If you like Lattes or iced coffees, they will be only $1 all day long.
Other great freebies include McDonald's, who will be giving away free small coffees during breakfast hours this morning. Also, Dunkin’ Donuts will be offering a free medium Dark Roast coffee to celebrate NCD. Tim Hortons is also getting in on the act by selling any size coffee for $1 across select cities. Many other establishments may be participating in today's giveaways so just because they aren't advertising online, be sure to inquire.
