MANILA, Philippines - Comedian Jose Manalo said he is not yet ready to open his heart again since he just came from a failed relationship.
"Huwag na muna," he told actress-host Kris Aquino on Monday's episode of "Kris TV".
Manalo recently separated with his wife Anna Lyn.
"Mayroon, mayroon. May trauma na ng konti," he said of his failed relationship.
"So hindi pa siguro ngayon (love), wala naman yatang taong hindi kailangan 'yon, open to the public," he said.
While he has no more communication with Anna Lyn, Manalo stressed that he has been providing financial support to his children.
"Kumpleto 'yon," he said. "Basta 'yung obligasyon bilang ama kahit wala ako doon eh tuloy tuloy. Minsan sila ang kumukuha, minsan pinapadala."
Film with Pokwang
Manalo and fellow comedian Wally Bayola made a guest appearance on "Kris TV" to promote their film "D' Kilabots Pogi Brothers... Weh!?" with ace comedienne Pokwang, who is close to Aquino.
In the film, Pokwang plays the love interest of Bayola.
"Tumaas ang level ko, kasi sa '24/7 in Love' si Sam Milby, tapos Wally oh!" she said in jest.
Also part of the film is Solenn Heussaff, who portrays the love interest of Manalo.
"Si Solenn, eh wala, 'yun ang binigay," Manalo joked, referring to the beautiful actress.
