MANILA, Philippines – Young actor Enrique Gil denied that his new car came from a benefactor.
In an interview with “The Buzz” aired on Sunday, Gil said all his possessions are the result of his hard work and that he never accepted anything from a benefactor.
“Basta sa akin ginawa ko ang trabaho ko. 'Yung dream car, nakuha ko sa malinis na pamamaraan. Sa lahat ng nag-iisip noon, sorry pero trabaho lang talaga. Malinis iyon, malinis. Pinaghirapan ko talaga,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, Gil said he is currently not in a relationship nor is he dating anyone.
Asked about the qualities of his ideal girl, Gil said: “Sa kulay wala naman eh. Depende lang talaga kung may something 'yung tao, 'yun na 'yun eh. Parang kahit wala siya doon, 'yung sumisilip ka kung nandiyan ba. ‘Yung may ganun.”
After the conclusion of his series “Princess And I,” Gil said he would devote his time to further hone his skills as an actor.
"I’m constantly learning. You always learn. You cannot stop learning kahit sobrang tagal mo na, kahit beterano, each time they act, you learn. Imposible ‘yung alam mo na lahat. Di mangyayari ‘yon,” he said.
Gil previously revealed that he will be working on two new shows with ABS-CBN this year.
