When will Richard, Sarah Lahbati tie the knot?
MANILA -- Their son, Zion, is already two years old. So when will celebrity couple Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati finally get married?
In an interview with TV host Korina Sanchez on magazine show "Rated K" which aired on Sunday, the two were asked if they have plans of getting hitched soon.
The two held hands and announced: “We have plans for soon.”
“We’re very happy where we are,” they added.
The young couple also recalled the challenges they faced when Lahbati left showbiz and returned to Switzerland. According to Lahbati, she left the country to "take a break" and focus on her pregnancy.
They also admitted that they were not planning to have a baby at the time. Nonetheless, they consider Zion their greatest blessing.
After a time, Gutierrez also decided to take a break from showbiz and fly to Switzerland to accompany Lahbati. “Alam kong mag-isa siya sa Switzerland,” Gutierrez explained.
“Wala akong ginagawa kundi bilangin ang araw ng pagdating niya at antayin ang paglabas ni Zion,” Lahbati recalled.
For Gutierrez, staying in Switzerland gave them a chance to live an ordinary life.
“I would ride the train alone, buy her (Lahbati) food, and come back to her,” the actor said.

Richard admits having baby with Sarah Lahbati
MANILA – Richard Gutierrez finally broke his silence and confirmed months-long speculation that he indeed has a child with actress Sarah Lahbati.
In the pilot episode of the reality family series “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez” which aired on E! Channel on Sunday, Gutierrez admitted he is now a father. Their son is named Zion.
Gutierrez said he and Lahbati found out about the actress’ pregnancy while they were in Paris after they shot scenes for their TV drama.
Saying he was initially scared on how they would break the news to their parents, Gutierrez said both of them decided to just keep everything within the family and just “share baby Zion to everyone in our own terms.”
Minutes after the big reveal aired, Lahbati took to the image-sharing site Instagram to express her joy now that they’ve already introduced baby Zion to the public.
“Extremely happy to announce the new member of our family, baby Zion,” she said.
She also addressed netizens who criticize her and Gutierrez for keeping mum about Zion for months.
“Once and for all, I do not care about the hate tweets and all the ‘poor baby bakit ganito, ganyan’ I just want to make it clear to you that from DAY ONE, we took care of him, loved him, protected him and gave him everything, until now,” she said.
“WE NEVER DENIED HIM. We just wanted to keep our privacy. Oh well, I love my family and I'm extremely happy and blessed that we were able to finally share our life with everyone. Spread the love,” she added.
Rumors about Lahbati's pregnancy circulated when the actress announced last year that she would be taking a break from showbiz, citing an unhealthy working relationship with her home network.
Gutierrez and Lahbati just celebrated this month their second anniversary together.

Actor Richard Gutierrez comes out to support his MMA team at PXC 31

It’s no secret that actor Richard Gutierrez is a big fan of mixed martial arts.
He’s been training in martial arts since he was a kid, starting first with karate and later boxing, Muay Thai and jiu-jitsu. He once trained under UFC fighter Brandon Vera in preparation for a role in a TV series, and also attended an MMA workshop held by Mark Munoz earlier this year.
Gutierrez now regularly trains with the team over at Submission Sports Philippines in Ortigas. The camp is headed by Erwin Tagle, who is set to make his Pacific X-treme Combat (PXC) debut in a blockbuster title fight with flyweight champion Ale Cali in September, and current URCC middleweight champion Froilan Sarenas.
At PXC 31, held Saturday at the Ynares Sports Arena, Gutierrez came out to support his Submission Sports Muay Thai trainer, Eugene Toquero, who defeated Victor Torre via technical knockout in a flyweight clash.
“It was well-executed,” Gutierrez said of his trainer’s impressive performance in the cage. “I requested for knees and elbows and he did exactly that so we’re very happy.”
Toquero brought about the end of the fight with a devastating elbow from the mount that opened a huge gash on Torre’s forehead. The ringside doctor was called into the cage, and he called it 4:16 into the first round.
“That’s his signature move, his elbow, so I was happy he was able to land it.”
But despite his dedication to the sport, don’t expect to see him climbing into the cage anytime soon.
“I don’t think so,” he answered when asked about his plans of making an MMA debut of his own.
