Angeline Quinto jealous of K-La Rivera?
MANILA – Erik Santos revealed that his rumored girlfriend, singer Angeline Quinto, got jealous of K-La Rivera when he invited her to his birthday celebration last year.
The two female singers were both finalists on the ABS-CBN reality talent show “Star Power,” where Quinto emerged victorious. The show, which aired in 2010, was co-hosted by Santos along with Sharon Cuneta and Christian Bautista.
Speaking on “Kris TV” where both of them were guests on Tuesday, Santos shared that Quinto did not talk to him for days because of the incident.
“Grabe pala magtampo ‘to, one week.
Although he did not mention Rivera initially, host Kris Aquino urged Santos to reveal who he was referring to. He then confirmed that it was Rivera, with whom he reportedly had a crush on in the past.
Asked how he wooed Quinto after she got jealous, Santos said: “Every day tinetext ko siya kahit hindi sumsagot, hindi ko siya tinitigilan.
According to Quinto, it was only during Santos’ actual birthday when she decided to patch things up with the singer.
Santos, for his part, shared that Quinto’s gesture brought him to tears.

Angeline on her breasts: 'Nahihirapan ako kasi sobrang laki'
MANILA - Singer-actress Angeline Quinto, who has been open about her cosmetic enhancements, revealed on Friday that she once considered undergoing breast reduction surgery.
Speaking with ABS-CBNnews.com on the sidelines of the press conference of her new film "Beauty in a Bottle," Quinto said she eventually decided against it after consulting a doctor.
"Sa totoo lang po, itong boobs ko ay nahihirapan ako minsan kasi sa sobrang laki," she said. "Akala ng iba ay nagpadagdag ako. Hindi nila alam namomroblema ako every time na mayroon akong show."
According to Quinto, she sought advice from celebrity dermatologist Vicki Belo, who is behind the singer's past cosmetic surgeries.
"Sabi niya masakit [ang operasyon pag magpabawas]. Sobrang sakit daw kaysa sa magpadagdag. So gawan na lang siguro ng paraan sa damit ko," she said.
When she brought up the idea to her rumored boyfriend Erik Santos, Quinto recalled that the "I'll Never Go" singer didn't think twice in advising her against it.
May point naman," Quinto said.

Angeline Quinto to brave Black Nazarene feast
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News' Marie Lozano, the 24-year-old singer recalled turning to the Black Nazarene when her mother was gravely ill.
Narrating a time she took part in the Black Nazarene feast in Quiapo, Manila, Quinto said, "Nagulat na lang ako nakasampa talaga ako [sa float].
"Nahalikan ko po 'yung kamay niya," she said.
Asked to recall how she felt when she touched the Black Nazarene, Quinto was at a loss for words.
Since then, Quinto said she has had a lot to be thankful for to the Black Nazarene, especially when it comes to her career.
Quinto was referring to her win in ABS-CBN's "Star Power" in 2011, which paved the way for her to become one of the most decorated and best-selling female artists in the country.
"Kaya talagang naniniwala ako na kahit anong hilingin mo sa kanya, hindi man ngayong dumating, basta marunong ka lang mahintay, darating at darating," she said.
This year, to express her gratitude for the Black Nazarene, Quinto said that she will once again brave the millions-strong crowd to touch the image.
"This year, pag ma-contact ko ulit 'yung grupo na tumulong sa akin, sasampa ulit ako," she said.

Angeline more confident after lipo, cosmetic surgery
MANILA – Angeline Quinto justified the cosmetic procedures she underwent last year as they helped boost her confidence.
Quinto explained that she has grown tired of being teased about her sad-looking eyes.
Para medyo maging mas masaya tignan ang mata ko,” she said in an interview with ANC's "Belo Beauty 101" which was aired on Sunday.
Aside from the "enhancements" on her face, Quinto said she also approached celebrity doctor Vicki Belo to perform liposuction on her arms and back.
Naisip ko naman, if lipo, mas mabilis na mawawala,” she said.
Asked why she is open about her cosmetic surgeries unlike other celebrities, Quinto said she sees the move as helpful to her career.
Apart from the cosmetic procedures, Quinto stressed that she also did her part by working out and going on a diet which resulted in a weight loss of over 20 pounds.

Angeline Quinto's not changing her religion for crush Coco Martin

MANILA, Philippines – After openly declaring her crush on Coco Martin and having recently received a necklace with a crucifix pendant from him, singer Angeline Quinto revealed that she won’t change her religion for him should they become an item.
During her interview with Boy Abunda on the Tuesday episode of “Bandila,” the “Star Power” champ was asked if she’s willing to change her religion for the Prince of the Philippine Indie Films, a question obviously inspired by the one Ms. Universe 2011 3rd Runner Up Shamcey Supsup had to answer during the pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil three weeks ago.
“No, po. [I won't change my religion for him.],” she immediately replied.
A life of firsts
In the interview, the forthcoming film “You Light Up My Life” star revealed a few firsts in her life since she joined showbiz after her win in the competition early this year.
Boy: Unang bansang binisita?
Angeline: Singapore po
Boy: Unang binili sa iyong unang sweldo?
Angeline: Havaianas po at Gasul.
Boy: Unang crush?
Special persons
Later on, Boy steered the interview towards the special people in her life and what’s the first thought that pops into her head when their names are mention.
Boy: Sarah Geronimo?
Angeline: Isang mabuting kaibigan po.
Boy: Regine Velasquez?
Angeline: Idolo ko po.
Boy: Coco Martin?
Angeline: Yummy, Tito Boy! Ha ha ha! [alluding to the coffee commercial where Martin was the lead star]
Boy pressed on by mentioning Sharon Cuneta, to which Angeline replied, “Pangalawang ina ko po.” And then Boy asked about Angeli Flores, who is now the only Filipina member of the first pan-Asian girl group Blush, and she said, “‘Star for A night’ co-contestant po.”
Family matters
In parting, Angeline was asked about her father who, in an earlier interview, she revealed was not very encouraging to her craft. Boy asked about the status of their relationship and if she has already forgiven his for saying she’s just wasting her time joining singing contests and not winning any single one of them.
