MANILA, Philippines -- Feng shui master Joseph Chau Kam Shing gave
his annual predictions for the upcoming Chinese New Year, which starts
next month.
Chau, who has been practicing feng shui for over 30 years, has been
personally involved in Mandarin Oriental Manila’s annual celebrations to
welcome the new lunar year and other feng shui-related events since
2000.
According to Chau, the
Year of the Yin Water Snake is a time of “challenges” and “conflicts.” Couples planning a wedding this year may want to postpone the date to next year.
Lucky colors for the year are gold, silver, white, beige, yellow, brown and red, while the unlucky colors are green, black, grey and blue.
