Ina Raymundo back on the cover of FHM

MANILA – Actress Ina Raymundo is back on the cover of FHM Philippines for its 17th anniversary.

On Monday, Raymundo was revealed as the cover girl for the March 2017 issue of the men’s magazine.

A mother of five, Raymundo exuded confidence as she posed on the cover wearing a revealing black outfit.

In an interview with the magazine, Raymundo talked about how she “nurtures her innate sensuality.”

“I’m so in touch with my inner sexuality. I’ve always had it since I was a little girl. I’m not kidding. I’m a very sexual person, but I manage it. I’ve always been aware of it. I feel like the more I age, it becomes stronger. It’s in me,” she said.

“People notice my sensuality in the way I move or in the way I flip my hair, even when I’m not totally conscious of it. It’s definitely not a weakness. That is a kind of power. I’ve never been in denial of it. But remember that you always have to use it wisely. Don’t abuse it, but don’t ignore or feel ashamed about it either. You can have that power and no one even needs to know that you’re in possession of it,” she added.

It was in October 2015 when Raymundo last appeared on the cover of FHM Philippines.

Why Rhian Ramos agreed to pose for FHM

MANILA - Rhian Ramos has finally agreed to pose for FHM Philippines.

The actress appears on the cover of the men's magazine's July issue. Ramos admitted that she never saw herself as one to grace the pages of FHM, but shared that she decided to do so after attending Solenn Heussaff's wedding in France last month.

Without going into details, she told her followers on Instagram: "Who knew it just took a rebrand, a wedding in France, a train strike, running in London, a mysterious forest, a bottle of wine, tons of fur, and five amazing people (Heussaff included) to make it happen."

According to an article posted on the website of FHM Philippines, the magazine's editorial team decided to pursue Ramos to be on their cover after she posted a photo of herself wearing a rather revealing bikini more than three months ago.



Ramos explained that she wanted the photo to serve as a "message" for those "making fun of her flat butt."

"For the longest time almost everybody was telling me: 'Do some squats, go exercise!' I hadn’t done a single squat in a year—that was what drove me to post that photo where my butt was hanging out. I was like, 'Take that!'" she told FHM Philippines.

Ramos' plan, she said, didn't exactly play out the way she intended as her photo drew even more criticism.

"I had a kind of epiphany after those reactions: 'You know what? It really doesn't matter what anyone’s opinion of your body is. It's really up to you what you want to look like and whatever that is, it's okay," she said.

MANILA - Actress Nadine Lustre is leading the online poll for the "FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2016," according to partial results released by the local men's magazine on Saturday.

The "On the Wings of Love" star is ahead of last year's winner, Jennylyn Mercado, and Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola. "Pilipinas Got Talent" judge Angel Locsin is in fourth place, while actress-singer Rhian Ramos rounded up the top five.

Fans of Lustre on Twitter responded to the initial results with both excitement and humor. They urged actor James Reid, the boyfriend of Lustre, to "stay strong," recalling an interview wherein Reid said that he disapproved of Lustre posing for sexy photo shoots.

The FHM Philippines poll will end on June 15. Last year, Mercado trailed both actress Andrea Torres and "Pasion de Amor" star Ellen Adarna in the days before voting concluded. She, however, overtook the two and was named as the sexiest woman in the country for 2015.

The 22-year-old Lustre placed 49th in last year's poll. Her surprising jump to the top of the list this year may be attributed to the popularity boost she received after the successful run of the primetime series "On the Wings of Love," which concluded in February

MANILA - Staying true to her "Pinoy Big Brother 737" (PBB) moniker of "Bombshell Baker ng Parañaque," model and dancer Dawn Chang flaunted her body on the cover of a local men's magazine.

The cover for FHM's February issue, which was unveiled on Friday, shows the 26-year-old Chang wearing a skimpy ballerina outfit that reveals her well-sculpted legs and cleavage.

"Dawn Chang shows us her impeccable form, sculpted by years of dancing, as she banners our February issue," wrote FHM as the caption to the cover reveal on their official Facebook account.

Inside the issue, Chang talked about how she got into dancing.

"I actually started out with ballet. My mom asked me if I wanted to do it, sabi ko, 'Sige, okay lang. I'll try.' I was already 15 back then, so that was actually a super late start. I had no idea about proper training, na may classes pala, kaya um-oo ako," she told the magazine.

"Nung (time na) halos kinupkop na ko ng dance teacher ko, I was dancing every single day, as in walang humpay. In two years, nahabol ko yung time na sana nag-start na 'ko. Gumaling ako—naging flexible ako, gumanda yung form ko, nagkaro’n ako ng linya."

Chang has been one of the more famous names to come out of the recent season of "PBB," perhaps best known for her viral dance video with fellow housemate Zeus Collins set to Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do."

FHM to cease publication

MANILA - The publisher of FHM is suspending the magazine's publication after more than 30 years in circulation, it was announced on Tuesday.

In a statement posted on its website, Bauer Media explained that "over time young men's media habits have continually moved towards mobile and social."

A report from The Guardian revealed that FHM's circulation fell to less than 67,000 for the first six months of 2015, or 20 percent less than that of the year before.

The Facebook page of FHM issued its own statement, saying: "Unfortunately it's true: it has been announced today the intention to suspend publication of FHM."

"It's been an absolute joy producing the magazine over the years. Thank you for all your support - we will keep you updated with developments over the coming weeks," it added.

Bauer Media also announced that it is suspending publication of a similar magazine called Zoo, which was launched back in 2004.

First published as "For Him Magazine" in 1985, FHM dominated the men's market during the 1990s and went on to launch a series of international editions. It is perhaps best known for its "100 Sexiest Women in the World" list.

FHM Philippines has yet to release a statement on the matter.

 Days before the cover was unveiled, Rivera shared a behind-the-scenes video of her magazine shoot.


Rivera has been getting praise on social media for confidently showing off her baby bump in form-fitting clothes, as opposed to some pregnant women who turn to shapeless outfits to hide their imperfections.

The actress, who is married to actor Dingdong Dantes, is due to give birth to a baby girl this month.

A mother of five, the stunning Raymundo exuded confidence as she posed on the cover wearing a sexy white tank top, looking every bit as stunning --if not more-- as she was more than a decade ago.

In an interview with FHM Philippines, Raymundo recalled the time she backed out of a chance to grace the front page because she suffered from an asthma attack.

She also said that the cover is a perfect way to celebrate her 40th birthday on December. "You know, bata pa lang ako I had always kept to heart what they say that life begins at 40," she said.

"For the last 14 years, I had dedicated myself to my kids, so now I’m doing this for myself.

Playboy centerfold's future at risk

Now readers of Playboy, the glossy men's magazine known for its nude fold-outs, can honestly say they are buying the magazine for its articles.

Playboy will no longer publish nude photographs of women, the New York Times reported on Monday in an article quoting Scott Flanders, the company's chief executive.

Founder and editor-in-chief Hugh Hefner, 89, who in his trademark silk pajamas has embodied the Playboy lifestyle, agreed last month with a suggestion by top editor Cory Jones to stop publishing images of naked women, the Times said.

At a time when every teenage boy has an Internet-connected phone and the web is rife with pornography, the magazine has opted to continue featuring women in provocative poses, just not completely nude, the Times said.

"You're now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free," Flanders was quoted as saying in the Times. "And so it's just passe at this juncture."

The magazine that featured Marilyn Monroe on its debut cover in 1953 is making the changes after circulation dropped from 5.6 million in 1975 to about 800,000 now, the Times said.

After its initial success, the magazine was attacked from the political right because of the nudity and from the left by feminists who said it reduced women to sex objects.

Some changes are still under debate, including whether there will continue to be a centerfold. Playboy magazine's sex columnist will be a woman, who writes enthusiastically about sex, Jones told the Times.

The magazine has always had intellectual appeal with top writers such as Kurt Vonnegut, Joyce Carol Oates, Vladimir Nabokov, James Baldwin and Alex Haley for men who liked to say they did not buy the magazine just for the pictures.

In-depth interviews with historic figures such as Fidel Castro, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X and John Lennon also were a regular feature.

"Don't get me wrong," Mr. Jones said of the decision to eliminate nude pictures, "12-year-old me is very disappointed in current me. But it's the right thing to do."

Playboy did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

MANILA - A pregnant Marian Rivera looks sexy and radiant in her cover appearance for men's magazine UNO, which she unveiled on Instagram Sunday.

The 30-year-old superstar, who is expecting her first child with actor-husband Dingdong Dantes, poses wearing a black dress that's unzipped to show her back.

Katrina Halili returns to FHM

MANILA – Sexy actress Katrina Halili is back on the cover of a popular men’s magazine exactly a decade since she last graced its pages.

FHM Philippines on Sunday night posted a photo of its January 2015 cover on its website and Facebook page, showing Halili wearing only white panties with white fur covering her bare bosom.

“This cover is more of a reminder, hindi lang para ipakita sa iba, pero para sa sarili ko na rin -- it's a reminder to take care of myself more," she was quoted as saying.

Given all the controversies that she has hurdled in the past years, Halili said she realized how much she missed working.

"All the things I went through made me feel na parang ang dami kong ayaw gawin. Dahil sa mga pinagdaanan ko, dumating ako sa point na feeling ko wala akong halaga. Nawala 'yung self-confidence ko. But I realized that I need to work and I want to work,” she said.

Halili rose to fame after she joined a reality TV competition.

She recently made headlines when she broke up with singer Kris Lawrence with whom she has a daughter Katrence.

Despite their breakup, Halili said they remain in good terms and that Lawrence has been shouldering some of their daughter's educational expenses.

In her interview with FHM, Aguila said she aspires to be like American superstar Jennifer Lopez, who is known as both a singer and a dancer.

"I tried singing and dancing din before, I can say keri naman. When I do shows, more on dancing siya, but I also mix some singing din lalo na kapag medyo pagod na ako," she said.

Over the years since she exited the "Pinoy Big Brother" house and joined showbiz in 2007, Aguila said she has learned to manage "stage fright."

"Sa simula, 'yung kaba talaga nandoon siya, kahit na anong gawin mo hindi siya mawawala. Every time I step onto a stage, it's always present," she said.

"But once I start performing na, nawawala na siya, until hindi mo na siya maramdaman. Maybe because I'm starting to enjoy what I'm doing na, kusa na siyang lumalabas."

The same can be said for Aguila's FHM comeback, which she considers as the most daring she has done in her career.

"Siguro ito na 'yung mako-consider ko na sexiest na nagawa ko kasi first time ko talaga nag-topless! But it's a good experience kasi I learned na kaya ko pala," she said.

MANILA - "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) winner and cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa donned her most daring costume yet as the latest cover girl of men's magazine FHM.

FHM Philippines on Tuesday launched its November 2014 cover featuring Sarrosa during its 2014 Halloween Ball at Raven in Bonifacio Global City.

The 19-year-old Sarrosa, who won the fourth teen edition of "PBB" in 2012, is seen on the cover wearing a black bra and a tiger-print headwear that extends as gloves.

Sarrosa has made a name for herself in the local cosplay community for her colorful and meticulously designed costumes, and for promoting the performance art to a wider audience.

A contract artist of Star Magic, Sarrosa has appeared in a number of ABS-CBN programs, including "Kahit Puso'y Masugatan" and "Moon of Desire." She was also seen the drama film "Once A Princess" early this year.

MANILA - After more than six years, actress Diana Zubiri is back on the cover of a local men's magazine.

FHM Philippines on Friday posted a photo of its September 2014 cover on its website and Facebook page, showing Zubiri wearing a black underwear matched with a coat hanging over her shoulders.

Asked what it was like to mark her comeback, she was quoted in saying: "Nakakakaba. Feeling ko was, 'Kaya ko pa ba ulit? May appeal pa ba ako sa mga readers? Susuportahan pa ba ako?"

"Hopefully yung expectations ko matupad, hindi nila ako iiwan at sana maging happy din sila that I'm back," she added.

PBA courtside reporter goes daring on FHM

MANILA - Former Miss Bikini Philippines contestant and PBA courtside reporter Erika Padilla appears nearly naked on the latest cover of men's magazine FHM, which was unveiled Thursday.

Photographed by Ejay Leung, Padilla poses on the June 2014 cover wearing only a worn-out tank top with a print that says "#selfie".

A preview of her pictorial in FHM's pages shows her wearing a bikini with knee-high socks inside what appears to be a locker room -- a nod to her current stint as a sportscaster.

"When you say FHM cover, it's not just about being sexy, or baring your body," she said, when asked whether being a cover girl for the popular magazine has sunk in yet.

"It's also about establishing certain success. With this cover, I just want to somehow celebrate the humble success that I was able to achieve from being an actress transitioning to a sportscaster to a writer and all those," she said.

Before landing her job with the PBA, Padilla was a contract artist of ABS-CBN's Star Magic and appeared in several of the network's TV series.

Currently, she is also a columnist for the online platform of FHM.

Topless Petra Mahalimuyak on FHM cover

MANILA - Showbiz newcomer Ashley Rivera, who gained online popularity for her YouTube persona Petra Mahalimuyak, is the cover girl of FHM for its April 2014 issue.


The cover, which was unveiled Friday on FHM's official website, shows Rivera nearly naked, wearing only a bikini bottom and with toy guns covering her breasts.

For the shoot, Rivera was photographed by Xander Angeles.

Rivera became a YouTube sensation in 2011 for her comedic tutorial videos as Petra Mahalimuyak, whose spoken English is characterized by a thick Filipino accent, notably with "How to Dance In A Club" and "My British Accent" getting millions of views.

At the time, Rivera was based in Las Vegas.





In March 2012, she was offered a contract by Viva Artists Agency, and has since transferred to the Philippines to pursue acting. She recently appeared in the romance-drama film "A Secret Affair," which starred Anne Curtis and Andi Eigenmann.

"People might react to this shoot and say, 'Now you’re posing for FHM?' But I was really ready for this," Rivera was quoted as saying on FHM's website. "I want people to know that I can be more than just Petra. I can do films, shows, and shoots.

"I want them to see that I can be a kontrabida, a mermaid, or whatever. Just expect more of me. I've been praying and I think I deserve a break," she said.
