Wil Dasovich diagnosed with cancer

MANILA - Travel blogger and former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Wil Dasovich released his "most important vlog" yet on Thursday, in which he revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer.
"I think everyone wants to live a long life. I would like to live a long life. But what's more important to me is how I live my life," he said at the start of his 11-minute video

Dasovich is in the United States, where he underwent a series of medical checkups after he experienced internal bleeding.

His newest vlog entry wraps up his life as a travel blogger, showing his adventures in southeast Asia.

"It's not the years in your life, but it's the life in your years that count. The biggest thing that we have to realize is that life has no limitations except the ones we create," he said, while a montage of his most memorable trips flashed on the screen.

The 25-year-old Dasovich also expressed his gratitude to the people whom he shared his journey with, especially to those who supported his vlog.

He also thanked the Philippines for the "never-ending smiles, the continuous laughter, overwhelming hospitality, anf the resilience to remain positive no matter the situation."

"Are you satisfied with the way you've lived your life and have you maximized your experiences? My answer to that question is yes. And that's why I'm content with my condition and the hardships I face," he said.

I still like Marco, Kisses of 'PBB' admits

After insisting that she has moved on from being heartbroken by Marco Gallo, Kisses Delavin made an admission on Wednesday's "Tonight with Boy Abunda."

Asked about whether she still has feelings for her fellow "Pinoy Big Brother" teen housemate during the talk show's "Fast Talk" segment, she said yes.

She wasn't able to elaborate further.

After Gallo was evicted from the reality show last year, Delavin had been open about her feelings for the Filipino-Italian. It even prompted the show to reunite the two so that Delavin can properly tell Gallo about her crush.

"Na-feel bad ako nung nalaman ko iyon," an apologetic Gallo told Delavin back then. "You were right in front of me at wala akong nasabi. Hindi ko napansin for two months. I feel so selfish."

"Ngayon na lumabas ako, na-realize ko kung gaano ako ka-tanga," continued Gallo, adding that he deeply values the friendship he formed with Delavin.

Delavin was named the runner-up of this season's "Pinoy Big Brother" last Sunday, losing out to Maymay Entrata.

WATCH: Jinri Park asked about indecent proposals

MANILA - Korean model and former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Jinri Park answered various questions in an exclusive online interview with Boy Abunda.

And one of the questions in the "Tonight with Boy Abunda" online interview published on Monday is about indecent proposals.

Park laughed when she was asked if she had "encountered an offer from a rich, old man."

"Honestly, I've never [had indecent proposals]. I'm like, is that a bad thing or a good thing? I don't know," she joked.

Park was evicted from the "PBB" house over the weekend after receiving the least number of votes among the nominated housemates.

A former FHM cover girl and gravure model, Park said she joined "PBB" to prove to her bashers that she is more than just "sexy."

A self-confessed introvert, her stint in the show was marred with criticism from her fellow housemates for being distant. She was named as the first grand finalist of this season.

Meet Maria Ozawa's Valentines' Day date

MANILA -- It appears Maria Ozawa has found love just in time for Valentines' Day.

Last Tuesday, the former adult film star posted a photo of herself going out on a date with Filipino, Jose Sarasola.

According to his Instagram page, Sarasola is a chef and an owner of a sports bar in ParaƱaque. He was also a contestant of "Pinoy Fear Factor," the localized version of the international franchise reality show that aired on ABS-CBN in late 2008.

This was not the first time the two were seen together. Sifting through Ozawa's own Instagram page revealed that she spent Christmas with Sarasola. She has also visited Sarasola's sports bar a number of times.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan Philippines back in 2010, Sarasola said his stint on "Pinoy Fear Factor" was one of the "best experiences" of his life.

"Going to Argentina to shoot 'Fear Factor' was amazing. Plus, getting bitten by an anaconda was freaky but memorable," he shared.

Sarasola also admitted to harboring celebrity crushes for Kapamilya stars Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis. "Not because they’re really pretty, but because of how they act. Kasi talagang kakaiba 'yung acting nila and I know them kasi, so even if they’re my friends, I find them really pretty in and outside."

Tanner Mata wins house and lot from 'Pinoy Big Brother'

Tanner Mata may be part of "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7," but there was was no luck involved in his win against fellow housemate Jerome Alcere, which earned Mata a brand-new house and lot.

Mata, a commercial model, beat Alcere in a challenge that involved stacking nearly a dozen small wooden houses on top of each other using only a long, thin rod. Making it more difficult, the two first had to navigate each piece that they grabbed through a maze.

Mata said that having a house he can call his own provides the "stability" he needs in his life at the moment. Mata was raised in the US by his mother and stepfather, but decided to migrate to the Philippines as he strives to become more independent.

He works as a commercial model. He is one of the remaining housemates from the teen, celebrity, and adult editions of this season's "Pinoy Big Brother."

It's official: BB Gandanghari is legally a woman

MANILA - It's official: BB Gandanghari is a woman.

As of Thursday, Rustom Padilla's legal identity has been changed to Binibini Gandanghari, and her gender formally recognized as female.

A Los Angeles court approved the name and gender change documents, which she filed back in August, Gandanghari revealed on her Instagram account. "This is it! And I thought this day would never come," she wrote.

"And I thank my GOD and my LORD for making these things happen. Everything makes sense now, and to this great country the United States of America for providing this [basic human right]. Thank you!" she added.

Gandanghari, then Rustom Padilla, first came out of the closet during the celebrity edition of the ABS-CBN reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" in 2006. In one of the most memorable moments of the popular reality TV show, Padilla admitted to fellow housemate Keanna Reeves that he is gay.

Padilla eventually decided to take the name BB Gandanghari and in an interview with "Tapatan ni Tunying" in July 2014, clarified that she is a transgender and not gay.

"When I came out, wala naman akong boyfriend. Wala naman akong karealsyon. So parang sabi ko, what makes me gay? Fast forward to three years after, hindi pala ako gay. Transgender pala ako,” she said at the time.

'PBB': Kisses confesses her feelings for Marco

MANILA -- "Be happy for their happiness."

This was the goal of "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Kisses Delavin, after having a heart-to-heart talk with Big Brother on Monday night.

The 17-year-old aspiring beauty queen was summoned to the confession room, where she burst into tears after a failed attempt to confront her fellow housemates Marco Gallo and Vivoree Esclito.

Inside the confession room, Big Brother asked Delavin to reveal what has been bothering her.

"Ayoko po talaga na nasasaktan ako, pero kasi kahit kalimutan ko nasasaktan pa rin ako. So I just wanna forget it kasi ayoko na nakakasakit ng tao," Delavin said.

(I don't like th efeeling of being hurt, But even if I try to forget it, I can still feel the pain. I want to forget because I don want to hurt others.)

According to her, she used to share a certain intimacy with Gallo, who has always been caring and thoughtful to her. This, however, ended when Gallo admitted his feelings for Esclito.

"Kasi si Marco po naging close talaga ako sa kanya. Nagustuhan ko talaga 'yong personality niya. Gustong gusto ko na maalaga siya, mabuti talaga siyang tao, lahat ng gusto ko sa isang tao nandoon kay Marco. And sobra-sobrang pinakita niya sa akin na pag-care, hindi ko alam kung anong nangyari. Tapos, bigla na siyang tumigil," she said.

(I became close to Marco. I like his personality. I like how caring he was. He's a good person. I can see all the characters I want in a person in Marco. I don't know what happened. He just stopped [caring].)

Delavin's statement led Big Brother to ask: "So, sinasabi mo bang may nararamdaman ka para kay Marco?"

(You mean to say, you have romantic feelings for Marco?)

Although she was hesitant at first, Delavin finally opened up about what she really feels about Gallo.

"Nagustuhan ko po talaga siya, Kuya (I really liked him)," she quipped.

"Pero 'yon, Kuya, nasasaktan lang ako kasi hindi ko alam kung anong nagagawa kong mali kasi lagi nalang akong iniiwan sa ere ng mga tao. Hindi nila tina-try na mas kilalanin. Tinitignan lang nila 'yong hitsura ko, kung ano lang 'yong mababaw. Pagod na pagod na ako, ayoko na kuya. Ang hirap-hirap na lagi kang hindi pinipili."

(I am hurting. I don't know what I keep doing wrong, but I always get deserted in the end. They don't try to know me better. I'm tired, Big Brother. It feels bad that you don't get chosen.)

Despite that, Delavin expressed her willingness to move on and forget about her feelings for the sake of their friendship.

"May mga bagay na kailangan mong i-accept and move on. Marami pong mga bagay na mas magandang pagtuunan ng pansin," she said.

(There are things that you need to accept in order to move on.)

But, of course, moving on is a difficult process especially if you see the person everyday. As soon as she left the confession room, Delavin ran inside the girls' bedroom and wept.

"Hindi ko alam kung bakit ayaw niya sa akin," she told another housemate, Maymay Entrata.

(I don't know why he does not like me.)

Why Marco, Christian fought inside 'PBB' house

MANILA - It all started with what seemed like a harmless prank.

After previously being at odds with housemate Rita Gabiola, 15-year-old Christian Morones had another argument with a fellow housemate, this time over a simple gag.

While working on their second task, the male housemates noticed that Morones, who was supposed to be working with them, was sleeping. Gallo then decided to pour some water on Moriones to wake him up.

What he thought would be a joke turned out to be more complicated after Morones stopped talking to his housemates. In an attempt to appease him, Gallo apologized, but Moriones continued giving him the cold shoulder.

"Ang mga problema, dapat pag-usapan, hindi shut up lang. At 'pag nag-uusap ako, gusto ko sa mata, at klaro," Gallo told Morones.

"Ang tanong ko, sinong nagsimula?" Morones said, adding, "O tingnan mo, tapos ikaw pa 'tong may ganang magalit sa akin?"

"Bakit mo ako tinitingnan ng ganyan? 'Di ba nagsorry na ako?" Gallo said before he walked out.

Edward Barber, who is the oldest among the male housemates, went over to Gallo and advised him to just let it go.

"You have to be the bigger man, because Christian, yeah, he's acting like a baby. That's true. You have to let it go," he said.

An emotional Gallo explained that he wanted to talk to Morones about their rift because he did not want it to get worse.

"Everything has to be done, right now, in this day. Because you cannot be a family if you do not talk about the problems. I don't want to repeat that... started from my dad. Because me and my family, we don't talk about the problems," he said.

After a few minutes, Gallo calmed down. Talking to Kuya, the runner of the show, Gallo explained that he just wanted to apologize to Morones.

Kuya, on the other hand, advised Moriones to wait for things to cool down before talking to Gallo.

This is the second time that Morones got into an argument with a housemate. In an episode aired August 13, Gabiola broke down after Moriones stopped talking to his housemates.

At that time, Morones, who admitted to anger management issues, decided not to speak with the other housemates after their task.

LOOK: Dawn Chang flaunts sculpted legs

MANILA - Staying true to her "Pinoy Big Brother 737" (PBB) moniker of "Bombshell Baker ng ParaƱaque," model and dancer Dawn Chang flaunted her body on the cover of a local men's magazine.

The cover for FHM's February issue, which was unveiled on Friday, shows the 26-year-old Chang wearing a skimpy ballerina outfit that reveals her well-sculpted legs and cleavage.

"Dawn Chang shows us her impeccable form, sculpted by years of dancing, as she banners our February issue," wrote FHM as the caption to the cover reveal on their official Facebook account.

Inside the issue, Chang talked about how she got into dancing.

"I actually started out with ballet. My mom asked me if I wanted to do it, sabi ko, 'Sige, okay lang. I'll try.' I was already 15 back then, so that was actually a super late start. I had no idea about proper training, na may classes pala, kaya um-oo ako," she told the magazine.

"Nung (time na) halos kinupkop na ko ng dance teacher ko, I was dancing every single day, as in walang humpay. In two years, nahabol ko yung time na sana nag-start na 'ko. Gumaling ako—naging flexible ako, gumanda yung form ko, nagkaro’n ako ng linya."

Chang has been one of the more famous names to come out of the recent season of "PBB," perhaps best known for her viral dance video with fellow housemate Zeus Collins set to Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do."

Zeus admits: 'Na in-love ako kay Dawn'

MANILA -- Former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Zeus Collins admitted that he fell in love with fellow housemate Dawn Chang inside the famous yellow house.

However, he said he really tried to control his feelings because they both have their respective partners waiting for them outside.

"Nagustuhan ko po si Dawn kasi po siyempre magaling po siyang sumayaw at lagi po kaming magkasama sa bahay. Na-inlove din po ako kay Dawn. Pero pinigilan ko din po ang sarili ko kasi alam ko na may boyfriend po siya," Collins told reporters on Tuesday at the launch of his dance group Hashtags, who will join the growing family of the noontime show "It's Showtime."

"Pero ngayon po ay magkaibigan po kami," he added.

In a recent interview, Collins confirmed that he and her girlfriend Princess Lerio have split up.

Before the was evicted from the show, Collins made headlines when he revealed to Chang that he is in a relationship and that he was asked to keep it hidden by his manager.

Yesterday, Zeus and Chang, who finished fourth, were reunited as they performed "Love Me Like You" on "It's Showtime."

Gerald mum on Kim's revelation about cheating ex

MANILA – Gerald Anderson refused to comment on Kim Chiu’s statement last week on “Gandang Gabi Vice” that she knows first-hand how it feels to be cheated on by her former boyfriend.

While Chiu did not mention Anderson’s name in the interview, the actress told host Vice Ganda that she only had one past relationship. Both former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemates, Chiu and Anderson broke up in 2010 amid controversies surrounding their relationship.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News and other reporters over the weekend, Anderson politely declined to say anything about the matter.

He said: “No [ayaw ko po mag-comment]. Basta manood po kayo ng ‘Everyday I Love You’ and ‘Etiquette for Mistresses.’”

The latter movie is Chiu’s latest big screen project where she plays the role of the other woman.

Anderson instead spoke at length about his experience working with Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.

“Okay sila. Sobrang seryoso ako kapag sa trabaho eh. Kapag nakikita ko sila na very light, sobrang magaan katrabaho, kita ko sa mga mukha nila na they are having fun. Ang tagal ko nang hindi ako ganun. Dati ganun ako. So parang bumalik 'yung I’m just having fun. Kahit mahirap 'yung roles namin, at the end of the day, nagagawa naming light,” he said.

Asked what he thinks of Soberano and Gil’s team-up, Anderson said: “Effortless lang sila. Tulad ng sinabi ko, they are just having fun. They are a natural. It just comes out kaya siguro maraming natutuwa sa kanila.”

However, he said he is uncertain whether the two are already a couple based on what he saw while they were working.

“Hindi ko alam. Hindi ko masasagot iyan. Pero kung ano 'yung nakita ko, they are having fun. Mahirap magsalita. Marami silang nai-inspire so 'yun naman ang importante doon,” he said.

But does he miss having a special someone every time he sees his two co-stars in “Everyday I Love You”?

“Oo siyempre naman. Lalaki po ako. I have feelings also. I go through mga ups and downs also. Tao din ako, may nami-miss din po ako. Pero ganun po talaga ang buhay. Isa sa mga natutunan ko sa movie na ito, minsan sa simula ng relasyon, sobrang saya niyo and then one day gigising ka realizing na baka I’m holding her back from something para ma-achieve niya 'yung mga dreams niya or baka [the relationship] is holding me back para sa self-achievement ko. Like I said, tao po ako so may nami-miss din po ako,” he explained.

Despite this, Anderson stressed that he is not yet ready to enter a new relationship.

“Hindi ko pa nga nakikita 'yung bahay ko for the last two weeks. Kumabaga, anong oras ang maibibigay ko sa magiging girlfriend ko? Ayaw ko maging selfish at maging unfair sa kanya. I don’t want to go through something like that,” he said.

Anderson’s last girlfriend was Maja Salvador.

Why Bailey behaves that way in 'PBB'

The resident psychologist of the ongoing season of "Pinoy Big Brother" explained on Thursday the controversial behavior of Filipino-British housemate Bailey May.

Speaking on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight," Dr. Randy Dellosa tackled Bailey's infatuation for fellow housemate Barbie Imperial, and his alleged "bromance" with Kenzo Gutierrez.

Asked if Bailey's parents should worry about their son's behavior, Dellosa said: "He's a boy turning into a man. This is coming of age for Bailey. I think this is natural."

Kenzo-Bailey relationship inside 'PBB' house explained

MANILA - "It's more about brotherly love, a deep friendship between two males."

With those words, the resident psychologist of this season's "Pinoy Big Brother" tried to explain the relationship between housemates Kenzo Gutierrez and Bailey May Thomas which had netizens abuzz.

Kenzo and Bailey recently made waves online after screen shots of the two holding hands and hugging had many speculating that there could be something more than friendship between them.

"Yung mga housemates they get lonely and they want to get the affection from each other para masuportahan nila ang isa't isa. So that's one reason why they become touchy and emotional," said Dr. Randy Dellosa.

He added that being the only son of their respective families may have played a part. Dellosa said that both Kenzo and Bailey share a longing for a brother.

Dellosa also noted that the negative reaction the two have been receiving for their "bromance" might have been brought about by Filipinos not being exposed to shifting changes in "gender expectations."

"This is one way to educate na nagbabago ang gender expectations at gender roles sa culture natin ngayon. Kung dati eh ang lalaki dapat tough, rough at emotionless, ngayon we have to be in touch with both our male and female sides," he said.

Asked about the possible role of having an openly gay housemate with them inside the "PBB" house to how the boys interact with each other, Dellosa said that the other housemates are just trying "to make Ryan comfortable."

Jason Francisco, John Prats shake hands 1 year after brawl

MANILA – Jason Francisco said all is now well between him and John Prats more than a year after they got involved in a brawl.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, Francisco said mending ties with Prats is one of the things which he is grateful for in this year.

“Okay na kami ni Kuya John. Nung PBB Big Night rehearsal, nag-shake hands kami. Okay na kami, walang problema. Simple lang. Siguro time din,” he said, referring to the finale of the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" last August.

Asked how their reconciliation came about, Francisco said: “Nakikita ko siya [madalas] pero ayaw ko naman mag-approach so hinintay ko na lang siya. Marami naman na akong nagawa noon [na pag-reach out], parang ayaw niya pa so hinintay ko na lang siya. Wala na 'yun.”

Francisco, however, said he is still waiting for the time when they could finally sit down and catch up.

“Hindi pa [kami nakakapag-usap]. Shake hands lang. 'Yun ang importante. Siguro kapag nagkasama kami ulit sa trabaho. Pero sapat na 'yun. Wala na masyadong usapan. Basta kumamay sa 'yo, okay na 'yun,” he said.

In March 2013, Francisco reportedly hit Prats three times on the cheek and chin during rehearsals for an episode of the late-night gag show “Banana Split.”

At that time, Prats surmised that Francisco was angered by the group's constant teasing of Melai Cantiveros, who is now Francisco's wife.

In a separate interview with ABS-CBN News, Francisco admitted that he was hurt by the jokes about him and Cantiveros.

Why Andi turned down Bret Jackson

MANILA - Actress Andi Eigenmann finally opened up about the reason she called things off with former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Bret Jackson, whom she has been romantically linked with back in September.

In an interview on Push published on Saturday, the 28-year-old explained that she simply was not ready to enter a new relationship, despite Jackson confessing his love for her.

"At that time, yes, of course, marami akong pinagdadaanan sa buhay ko nun, relationship-wise or not," she said.

Eigenmann lost her father, actor Mark Gil, in the same month. She was also reeling from her break up with Jake Ejercito, the son of Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada with former actress Laarni Enriquez.

The two have reportedly reconciled since.

"Ayoko nang nagmamadali. I don't want to jump into something that I know I’m not ready for," Eigenmann added. She also clarified that she remains good friends with Jackson.

Eigenmann and Jackson are set to star in a currently unnamed project, marking the their first big screen team-up.
