Solenn gets her makeup 'payback,' transforms husband Nico into a woman

Solenn Heussaff got her "payback" for the botched makeup job her husband Nico Bolzico did on her early this month by uploading a video, in which she transformed him into a woman. 

Convinced that Bolzico is the long-lost brother of CNN anchor Natalie Allen, Heussaff made it her mission to prove this to their fans. 

The result, however, is less Allen, and more the Wayans brothers in "White Chicks" when they went undercover as blond, blue-eyed hotel heiresses in the movie, by Heussaff's own admission.

Still, it was hilarious to see Bolzico struggle to go through with the whole gag, saying that he has a reputation to keep in Argentina. 

"I can just imagine my friends watching this video. My image is done," he said.

Heussaff also seems pretty satisfied with the lessons she managed to teach her hubby, writing: "If in the last video I wanted him to understand why girls take so long to get ready every day, and to appreciate what we do, here I wanted him to actually EXPERIENCE the process for himself."

MANILA – Solenn Heusaff once again caught the attention of her followers on Sunday after she posted a naked picture of herself while enjoying the sun in Bali.


On Instagram, Heussaff shared a photo of her naked body covered only with a big hat.

In the caption, she wrote: “Owning up to my bathingsuit tag.”

Heussaff is in Bali to attend the bachelorette party of her friend Isabelle Daza.

Heussaff's post has already garnered more than 33,000 “likes” and over 200 comments.

Solenn Heussaff marries Nico Bolzico in Argentina

MANILA - Actress Solenn Heussaff has reportedly gotten married to non-showbiz partner Nico Bolzico in Argentina.

Actress and model Isabelle Daza shared a “snap” with the caption "Mr and Mrs. Bolzico" on photo and video sharing app Snapchat.

Followers of Heussaff on Instagram also sent their well wishes to the newlywed actress.

With Heussaff on her wedding day were Daza, Georgina Wilson and Anne Curtis, who is in a relationship with Solenn's brother, Erwan.

Heussaff and Bolzico had been living in together as a couple for more than two years before they got engaged in December last year.

In a previous interview with ABS-CBN, Heussaff shared that while her boyfriend supports her career, they have made an effort not to have him be part of showbiz.

"Well, he doesn't involve himself in it," she said. "At ako rin, pag may interviews na gusto mag-interview sa kanya, sabi ko, 'No, he's out of this business.'"

Aside from being an actress, Heussaff is a recording artist and an author. Together with Wilson, she launched her co-written book, "Besties" in April under ABS-CBN Publishing.

LOOK: Solenn in steamy shoot with Argentine fiance

MANILA - Actress Solenn Heussaff and her fiance, Argentine businessman Nico Bolzico, get passionate in the latest issue of fashion magazine Preview.

The two kiss on the lips on one of the February 2015 covers unveiled on Monday. On the other, Heussaff looks at the camera while holding Bolzico by his neck.

"She said, he said and how their friends see it: The first and only look at Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico's red-hot romance," says a blurb on both covers.

For the magazine appearance, the couple was photographed by Ronnie Salvacion. They were styled by Loris Peña with art direction by Vince Uy. Their hair and makeup were done by Raymond Santiago and Robbie Piñera, respectively.

Heussaff and Bolzico, who have been sharing a home for almost four years now, got engaged in December 2014. In an interview four months earlier, Heussaff said she would be prefer to get married outside the Philippines.

Solenn Heussaff: I've already settled down

Anne-Erwan relationship going strong, says Solenn

MANILA - For Solenn Heussaff, settling down doesn't mean getting married.

Speaking with reporters on Thursday, the 29-year-old actress was asked what age she intends to settle down with her boyfriend, Argentine businessman Nico Bolzico.

"Settled down na naman ako, almost three years nag-li-live in na kami. Pag may singsing, same, wala namang mag-iiba," she answered.

On whether she still hopes to walk down the aisle, Heussaff added: "Hindi ako pressured. Siyempre naman, it's every girl's dream, but if it doesn't happen now, hindi ako iiyak."

If she and Bolzico do get married, Heussaff said she would prefer to have the ceremony done outside the Philippines, with only close friends and family members in attendance.

"Pag magkasal ako, sa abroad for sure, kasi gusto ko maliit 'yung wedding," she said. "Ayoko mag-invite ng mga hindi close. Kahit sa family ko, I'm not so close to everyone, so gusto ko lang 60 people sa wedding. Thirty sa side ko, 30 sa side niya."

Heussaff's preference to keep her relationship private extends to possible work opportunities with Bolzico, who was recently tapped as an ambassador of a watch brand.

While she will not prohibit her boyfriend from endorsing products, Heussaff said it is unlikely that she will agree to work with him in a similar project.

"Parang ayoko, kasi after, maraming intriga. You all know I hate intriga. He can do his own thing. Kung gusto niya, gagawin ko, pero choice ko lang, ayaw ko. His work is his work, mine is mine," she said.

Meanwhile, the "Seduction" star said she is happy for her brother, food blogger Erwan Heussaff, and actress Anne Curtis, who have been a couple for four years and a half now.

"Happy naman ako kasi love ko si Anne. Pag mangyayari ng something, susubukan kong... I'd hit my brother!" she quipped. "I love Anne so much, so I'm happy na sila parin. Strong naman 'yung relationship nila."

MANILA - For the first time, Solenn Heussaff's Argentinean boyfriend joined the actress in a photo shoot for a local lifestyle magazine.

 Heussaff, Vhong Navarro's leading lady in "Da Possessed," and her boyfriend, 30-year-old Nico Bolzico, are featured on the cover of HOLA! Philippines' April 2014 issue, where they are seen posing on a motorboat in the waters off Aman'oi in Vietnam.

Another photo of the couple, which appears in the pages of HOLA!, show the two in swimwear as they pose on a beach.

The issue, according to HOLA! in a press statement, includes an exclusive interview with Heussaff and Bolzico about their relationship.

Heussaff earlier said she has been sharing a home with Bolzico, a businessman and football player, for the past two years.

The April 2014 issue of HOLA! also features actress Ruffa Guierrez's vacation in France, model Joey Mead-King's travels to Singapore, and the adventures of TV host Marc Nelson, among others.

Health, weight loss tips from Erwan Heussaff

MANILA – Most people know Erwan Heussaff for three things – for being the boyfriend of Kapamilya star Anne Curtis, for being the brother of actress Solenn Heussaff, and for his food blog, The Fat Kid Inside.

His popular food blog is named such as a reminder of his past – Heussaff used to weigh 240 pounds due to a sedentary lifestyle and eating a lot of processed food.

Through discipline and healthy eating, he was able to lose 90 pounds and went on to become a heartthrob in his own right.

So how did he do it?

In an attempt to answer the question in five minutes, Heussaff recently uploaded a clip showing some of his tips on how to lose weight in a fast, safe and enjoyable way.

The video, simply titled “Get Healthy in Five Minutes,” tells viewers what types of food to eat and what to avoid, with Heussaff addressing common misconceptions related to dieting and exercise.




“Weight is lost through the kitchen, and then through sports,” Heussaff said in the clip, adding, “A balanced meal for me is a cup of broccoli, a tablespoon of olive oil, 200 grams of cooked chicken, one cup of salad and one banana.”

Addressing crash dieters, Heussaff discouraged skipping meals, saying the body needs to “get used to digesting food.”

He also urged those who want to lose weight to get rid of products with ingredients “you can’t pronounce,” as well as anything deep-fried.

“Try cooking most of your meals. Prepare your own snacks. Portioning is so important. Keep a food diary. Don’t skip meals. Have one cheat meal a week where you eat anything you want. Chew your food,” he said.

Solenn Heussaff in rare appearance on ABS-CBN

GMA-7 star Solenn Heussaff made a rare appearance on ABS-CBN when she took the "Ihaw Na!" hot seat on the late-night gag show "Banana Nite" in its episode aired Friday.

The actress-singer faced Boy Abunda impersonator Jayson Gainza, who asked Heussaff about topics ranging from her other profession as a make-up artist and her "love life."

Heussaff is currently promoting the romantic-comedy film "Status: It's Complicated," where she co-stars with Kapamilya actors Jake Cuenca, Paulo Avelino, Maja Salvador and Eugene Domingo.

Solenn: I am an honest person

MANILA – Hours after it was first reported that the Bureau of Internal Revenue filed a tax evasion case against her, TV host and actress Solenn Heussaff insisted that she is not the type of person who cheats.

On her Twitter account on Thursday, Heussaff said: “I'm an honest person. As transparent as it gets. Someone made a mistake and I have to fix it.”

She also told one of her followers that she pays her taxes. “I'm ordinary too. And I do [pay my taxes]. Now I know not to give 100% trust,” she said.

Earlier today, the BIR filed a P3.6-million tax evasion case against Heussaff, who had previously joined the agency's tax campaign events.

The complaint, filed before the Department of Justice, said Heussaff failed to supply correct and accurate information in her tax returns in 2011 when she declared a gross income of only P6.73 million and a taxable income of P3.3 million.

"Heusaff's underdeclaration is more than 30 percent and is prima facie evidence of fraud," the BIR said, noting investigations showed the model received income payments amounting to P13.38 million in 2011.
"The BIR assessed her deficiency tax liability at P3.6 million, including surcharge and interest," the agency continued.

The BIR is also filing charges against Heussaff's accountant, Teofilo C. Magno, Jr. for his certification of his client's financial statement.

Solenn Heussaff goes nude on Esquire cover

MANILA, Philippines -- Solenn Heussaff is completely nude in her cover appearance as the "Sexiest Woman Alive" in the local edition of men's magazine Esquire.

The French-Filipina model-actress posed nude on the cover of the February 2013 issue of Esquire Philippines, which was unveiled on the men's magazine's official website on Wednesday.

"After much heated discussion and rigorous scientific verification, the Esquire Philippines team has determined, to our complete satisfaction, that [the Sexiest Woman Alive] is none other than Solenn Heusaff," the accompanying description of the cover said.

"The famous French-Filipina shows us how she does more with less – less clothing, inhibitions and fear," it added.

In the United Kingdom and United States editions of Esquire, Australian model Miranda Kerr and American actress Mila Kunis, respectively, were named "Sexiest Woman Alive" for the year 2012.

Heussaff also leads the list of the "Women We Love" feature in the February issue of Esquire Philippines. It also includes actress Dindi Gallardo, graphic designer Isabel Gatuslao, and other personalities from the fields of music, filmmaking, writing, journalism and politics.

According to the official website of Summit Media, which publishes Esquire locally, senatorial candidate Grace Poe-Llamanzares is also among the "Women We Love" list.

On Tuesday, Esquire released a video of Heussaff in a two-piece lingerie, as a way of announcing her being chosen at its "Sexiest Woman Alive."

Huessaff's appearance in the video was styled by Liz Uy and Raymond Gutierrez, with hair and makeup by John Valle and Paolo Maranan, respectively.

Solenn explains side on 'Boy Pick-Up' issue, Angelina Jolie tweets

MANILA, Philippines – Young temptress Solenn Heussaff denies reports that she has snagged Sam Pinto’s Neneng B role in the "Boy Pick-Up" movie.

“Si Sam Pinto is still the original Neneng B and will still be Neneng B in the movie. Ako ‘yung isang baker,” Solenn explained on “24 Oras,” Feb. 28.

The half-Filipina, half-French actress found the need to explain her side when reports that she’s tapped to play Neneng B’s character surfaced recently. The role in “Bubble Gang” segment has since become Sam’s most popular alter ego.

“I’m still doing Neneng B. I’m still playing Neneng B in the movie,” Sam explained in the same episode.

Sam is “excited” to play Neneng B in the movie version of Boy Pick-Up as “we all didn’t expect it to be that big, this big. So parang I love doing Boy Pick-Up.”

The spin off, according to Sam, will revolve on “Boy Pick-up’s life outside the pick-up world.”

Apparently, Sam is aware about talks that Solenn will reprise her comic role in the movie version.

“I actually texted her. ‘Ano ‘tong tsismis na ‘to?’”

Aside from the Neneng B issue, Solenn also found herself on the hot seat after she commented about Angelina Jolie’s looks during the recent Oscar Awards.

“Angelina jolie is looking old and too skinny #SayangAngBeauty #academyawards,” Solenn tweeted at 11:26 AM, Feb. 27.

This was followed by another tweet which said, “She's still my favorite forever. But I wish she would eat more :( hard having so many kids I guess!”

The messages didn’t sit well with fans of the Hollywood actress who took to Twitter to criticize her comment on Brad Pitt’s partner.

Dawngaviola-vallena tweeted on Feb. 27, “Beginning to hate @solennheussaff! So Angelina Jolie looks old huh?!”

AbbyDelute seemingly took a swipe at Solenn with this message, “I am not negating on your opinion though, but no offense she still can give young CELEBS a run for their money! Hot as hell!”

To which Solenn agrees.

“Yes she's still hot. But she's looked better :( still love her,” she said.

“Nilinaw ni Solenn na opinion niya lang iyon at hindi niya sinisiraan ang Hollywood actress. Sa katunayan, idolo niya si Angelina lalo pa noong bumida ito sa ‘Tomb Raider’ movies,” the “24 Oras” report said.

“[I was kind of surprised] na medyo payat siya. The concerned girl, I mean, siyempre naman hindi ako perfect, hindi ako ganoon din. It’s just reaction lang, point of view ng isang tao lang, opinion lang. So if you don’t agree with me, you don’t agree with me.”

To probably appease fans of Angelina, Solenn posted a series of tweets saying she’s learned a lesson out of the experience.

“Guys chill!! Some people take things too personally. Opinions aren't for twitter. one thing I learned today! Wow haha chillax.”

At past 12 noon on Feb. 27, she posted, “OMG haha Sad to say but when u have an opinion, just shut up and save it for yourself. Or twitterworld is gowing to war haha! Intertaining.”
