LOOK: Vic Sotto marries Pauleen Luna

MANILA - Screen veteran Vic Sotto finally tied the knot with his fiancée, actress-host Pauleen Luna, on Saturday in a wedding ceremony held at St. James The Great Parish Church in Alabang.

Several of the couple's friends and family, along with the occasion's official photographer, shared photos of the wedding on social media.

Among those in attendance were Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, along with Sotto's children Danica and Oyo (with Dina Bonnevie), Vico (with Coney Reyes), and Paulina (with Angela Luz).


 In an earlier interview on radio dzMM, Vico said that their father has their full support. He said: "Siyempre bilang isang anak, dapat mahalin natin at galangin ang ating mga magulang. So full support naman po ako sa wedding ni Papa."


Sotto first confirmed his relationship with Luna, who is 35 years younger than him, back in December of 2013. The two, however, have been together since 2011.

Their relationship, due to their huge age gap, was initially met with criticisms, especially from Sotto's daughter Danica.

In a special aired on "Eat Bulaga," Sotto, who confirmed his engagement to Luna last September, opened up about the criticisms his relationship with the actress had received.

"I know na hindi ganung kadali na tanggapin ang aming mga desisyon but I know that you all love me and respect me kaya eto na kami ngayon," he said.

Sotto was previously married to Bonnevie in 1982. The couple broke up four years later and their marriage was annulled in 1992.

Is Pauleen ready to marry Vic?

MANILA - Pauleen Luna dropped hints Tuesday of a wedding, and building a family life with long-time partner Vic Sotto.

On the sidelines of the TESDA short film competition at the PICC Plenary Hall which Luna hosted, the actress said she and Sotto have discussed their wedding plans.

At the ribbing of TESDA Secretary Joel Villanueva, Luna said she is willing to take on his challenge to take pastry and baking classes under the auspices of the technical education skills agency.

She said that cooking is one of the prime requirements of a happy home. Luna also said it was in the natural order of things that she will be a wife and mother.

Vic on having a new baby: I will be happier

MANILA - While he enjoys bonding with his children and grandchildren, veteran comedian Vic Sotto is open to the idea of having another baby.

In an interview during a press conference for his newest endorsement, the real estate company Citiglobal, Sotto said he "will be happier" if he will have another child.

"Kapag darating [ang baby] I will be happier. It's most welcome kung may parating pa. Bonggang, bonggang, bongga," said Sotto, who is in a relationship with his "Eat Bulaga" co-host Pauleen Luna.

When asked if he couldn't live without Luna, he said: "Oo naman. Kasama siya sa araw-araw na buhay ko."

Sotto went on to share his excitement whenever he sees his children and grandchildren.

"Marami akong apo eh. May bago akong baby, si Caleb na gwapong-gwapo, na nagmana sa lolo, grabe. I'm sure nakikita niyo sa Instagram ni Oyo," he said, referring to his son, Oyo Sotto.

"Siyempre hindi mo pwedeng alisin 'yon," he added, noting how he always makes his children his priority. "Bonus na lang 'yung sa mga apo ko na mababait, cute."

Meanwhile, Sotto said he is having a great time because he has always loved his work as an actor and TV host.

"I've always been relaxed. That's one thing that's keeping us really going strong -- loving what you're doing. At kapag sinabi mo 'yung loving what you're doing, eh kung 'di ka relaxed, 'di ka mage-enjoy. Kung tingin mo lang sa ginagawa mo ay trabaho lang talaga, trabaho ka nang trabaho, walang relaxation. Iiksi ang buhay mo.

"In other words, kailangan mage-enjoy ka," he ended.

Vic on Pauleen: 'Wala naman kaming tinatago'

MANILA, Philippines – After it was reported that they have already called it quits, it seems that things are now smooth again between comedian Vic Sotto and television host Pauleen Luna.


Just recently, Sotto and Luna, who are rumored to be in a relationship, were spotted together at a red carpet event at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City, according to "The Buzz" hosts Boy Abunda and Charlene Gonzales.

The two cited a report from the entertainment website Pep.ph, which quoted Sotto as saying: "Wala naman kaming itinatago eh. Just don't talk about it, kasi para tahimik."

Sotto even added that he is currently happy with his personal life. Asked if he attributes his happiness to Luna, the comedian replied: “Sabi mo, e! Sabi mo, e! Gusto mo 'yan eh!”

Sotto said he just wants to keep things low key, adding that a relationship is happier if there is not much intrigue.

“[There is] nothing really to talk about. No biggie, 'ika nga. Kung ano kami, yun na yun,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sotto’s daughter Danica said she and her brother Oyo will support their father’s decision as long as he is happy.
