LOOK: Jinri Park gets married in Australia amid COVID-19

“I can’t wait till the virus dies down so I can wear my wedding dress and have my dad walk me down the aisle.”

This was what TV host and model Jinri Park wrote as she shared this Saturday that she and her non-showbiz partner had to settle for a low-key ceremony for now, until the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis ends.


On Instagram, she posted a photo of her and her partner, John, whom she had already married in a Korean wedding ceremony, sharing a kiss after marrying again at a church in Sydney, Australia. She added that only John’s family was present as their witnesses.

Park, a former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate, was clad in a simple white dress, and she wrote in the caption that she is still very much looking forward to the day their planned church wedding with friends and family would push through.

“Today was our wedding day but due to the virus we decided to postpone it. We still went to the church to legally sign the registry and got married. The weather was perfect and we had John's family there to witness,” she told her fans, before reminding them to stay safe during this time of crisis.

Earlier this week, Park admitted that she felt “upset” over postponing their wedding because of all the stress she had to go through with planning it.

She did say that she understands the need for the measures against COVID-19, and told her fellow brides who had to move their weddings that “we now have a story to tell our grandchildren.”

MANILA - Korean model and former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Jinri Park answered various questions in an exclusive online interview with Boy Abunda.

And one of the questions in the "Tonight with Boy Abunda" online interview published on Monday is about indecent proposals.

Park laughed when she was asked if she had "encountered an offer from a rich, old man."

"Honestly, I've never [had indecent proposals]. I'm like, is that a bad thing or a good thing? I don't know," she joked.

Park was evicted from the "PBB" house over the weekend after receiving the least number of votes among the nominated housemates.


A former FHM cover girl and gravure model, Park said she joined "PBB" to prove to her bashers that she is more than just "sexy."

A self-confessed introvert, her stint in the show was marred with criticism from her fellow housemates for being distant. She was named as the first grand finalist of this season.

Korean Jinri Park debuts on FHM

MANILA – For the first time, Korean celebrity Jinri Park is gracing the cover of the men’s magazine FHM Philippines.

On the cover of FHM Philippines’ August 2013 issue, Park is seen wearing a white cropped top and a pair of red underwear.

In her interview with FHM, the Korean celebrity called FHM Philippines her career “stepping stone.”

“I always tell this to other magazines and newspapers when I get interviewed that I think FHM was really my stepping stone to getting into DJing, showbiz and other things. Even though it wasn’t my first cover, FHM was my first mainstream cover. You have a wide range of audience and that started it.”

FHM Philippines’ Mikey Agulto noted how Park “has worked her way up the ranks,” with the Korean celebrity included in the “Girls of FHM” list three times and working as a columnist before making it as a cover girl.

“It’s very clear that 2013 is Jinri’s breakout year, spreading out her Korean charms not only in print media, but also in television, radio and the web. Heck, she even has her own buko shake business now! We don’t want to sound presumptuous, but we hope FHM really did have a hand in bringing her all these good things,” Agulto wrote in an article published on FHM Philippines’ website.
