Kim Kardashian announces end of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'

LOS ANGELES -- Fans will have to find another way to keep up with the Kardashians, as the mega-celebrity family announced Tuesday that their reality show will end next year.

"It is with heavy hearts that we've made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,'" Kim Kardashian wrote in a post to her 188 million Instagram followers.

"After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who've watched us for all of these years -- through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children," she said.

"Our last season will air early next year in 2021," wrote the businesswoman and wife of rapper Kanye West.

"Without 'Keeping Up with The Kardashians,' I wouldn't be where I am today," she added. "This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever."

The statement was also shared by Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, the family's highly adept "mom-ager." The post was signed by the three Kardashian sisters -- Kourtney, Kim and Khloe -- their mother, their brother Rob, their half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Scott Disick, the father of Kourtney's three children.

The family gave no explanation for the decision to end the popular show.

The announcement comes after rap star West, who has four children with Kim Kardashian, said he is running for US president.

West has also recently made enigmatic and disjointed, even incoherent, remarks on Twitter and at a campaign event, prompting his wife to open up about his bipolar disorder and ask for "compassion and empathy."

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" skyrocketed the entire family to fame, turning them into regulars in celebrity tabloids and helping them leverage their notoriety into multi-million dollar careers in makeup, perfume and modeling.

Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian knocked back tequila shots while filming a make-up tutorial.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" stars tested the Lip Kit guru's upcoming Birthday Collection, The Money Collection, in Jenner's "Get Ready With Me" vlog on her YouTube channel and despite being under the influence, they were impressed with their efforts.

As the 21-year-old beauty attempted to apply concealer, she said: "I've honestly never done my make-up intoxicated, but I'm doing pretty good."


The self-made billionaire and her 35-year-old half-sister -- who has 15-month-old daughter True with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson -- were seen getting increasingly drunk on camera as a counter on the bottom of the screen counted how many shots they were taking.

Halfway through testing the new collection, Kardashian complained: "I have to wake up with my baby in the morning."

Jenner had arrived at the studio carrying her own personalized pink bottle of Don Julio 1942 embellished in glitter with her name on it and the reality TV star admitted she'd predicted the shoot would be "funny."

A drunk Jenner said: "I knew this was going to be funny but now that we're actually doing it this is hilarious."

The two stars also made sure to call momager Kris Jenner and beg her to join in on the fun. Although she declined the invitation and called them "drunky monkeys," her boyfriend Corey Gamble still made a cameo appearance.

By the end of the video, the pair had downed nine shots each.

Jenner's birthday collection dropped on Saturday, the same day as her lavish 22nd birthday celebration in Capri, Italy.

For the occasion, Jenner -- who has 16-month-old daughter Stormi with partner Travis Scott -- has chartered the mega yacht Tranquility, which costs $1.2 million per week to rent.

However, the 3,000-foot ship comes with 10 cabins, a sauna, a helipad, beauty salon, theater, steam room, jacuzzi, swimming pool and a 29-person cabin crew.

Sofia Richie, who makes an appearance in the make-up video, is also expected be on the trip along with 36-year-old boyfriend Scott Disick, the former partner of Jenner's older half-sister Kourtney Kardashian.

Reality TV stars Kris, Bruce Jenner to divorce

LOS ANGELES -- Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian reality television family, on Monday filed for divorce from her husband Bruce Jenner, the gold medal-winning Olympic decathlete, almost a year after they announced their separation.

Kris Jenner, 58, cited irreconcilable differences in the divorce petition, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Superior Court said. The couple announced their separation in October last year.

Kris Jenner is the star, along with her daughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, of "Keeping up with the Kardashians," a reality show on U.S. cable network E!. They also star together in spin-off shows.

The couple married in 1991 and they have two teenage daughters, Kendall and Kylie, who appear on the Kardashian reality TV programs.

Bruce Jenner, 64, won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal.
